Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Prologue:
I walked through the gate. The clouds felt so good on my feet. I noticed I wasn't wearing my black ankle boots anymore. I walked around, and then I saw a little opening in the clouds. "Is that...Jessie?" I asked looking closer. "That's how I watch over you," Jesus said with a twinkle in his eye. She wasn't letting anyone sit next to her at the lunch table. She looked depressed, or something. "Can you please send someone to be her best friend?" I asked. He nodded.

The bell rung. I dumped out my trash and walked to math class. Parker was right behind me, so I walked faster. I just can't believe Fiona died. Well, that's what I think. I noticed Parker flirting with some pretty girl at his locker. She had blonde curls and freckles all over her nose. Parker looks healthy and not so pale anymore. That's because of Fiona's blood. Her mom must be so worried. There were police reports this morning. I guess they either didn't show Parker's name, or that girl didn't watch the news. I sat far away from Parker in math. The girl sat next to him. I heard him say 'Chyna' a few times. After math, I walked up to this 'Chyna' girl. "Hi," I said. "Hi, I'm Chyna, C-H-Y-N-A. Chyna," she said smiling at me. I noticed her pink braces. She walked away still smiling. Weirdo. I felt someone bump into me. "OOF!" I said falling down. "Sorry!" someone said behind me. I got up and looked around. A chubby girl with long red hair was blushing. She picked up her books and brushed her bangs out of the way. She seems nice. "I'm such a klutz! I'm Lisa," she said holding out her hand. I shook it. "I'm Jessie. My real name is Jesus, but it's really messed up, so everyone calls me Jessie," I said. Lisa laughed. It seemed like the world got a little better. Her laugh was so genuine, and rich. It made me smile.

I knocked on the Jansens' door. Mrs.Jansen opened it. "Oh please come in Jessie," Mrs.Jansen said pulling me in. I sat down at the table across from Carlene. She was eating a poptart. "I think a vampire killed Fiona," I said taking out "Blood Sucking Demons". "I can't believe those things are real," Mrs.Jansen said. "I shouldn't have let her go." She fled to her bedroom and shut the door. "Wanna play in our pool?" Carlene asked. "In October?" "Why not?" Moments later, we were talking in her little kiddie pool. "Do you miss your sister?" "She was the only one who I could talk to about personal stuff," Carlene said trying to hold back a tear. I hugged her. I cried too. With Parker out there, who knows what will happen to the human race? We'll all be either dead or vampires. I shivered just thinking about it. I hugged Carlene one more time, and went home in wet clothes. I told my mom everything. She hugged me, even though I'm wet. "I'm so sorry Jessie," Mom said crying. I gave her a crooked smile and went to bed. Mom let me put garlic next to my bed. It smelled bad, but who knows if a vampire will come in my room.

The next morning, I wondered what it would be like in heaven. You never really know unless you die. Mornings always made me feel good. If I've learned anything from my book, it's that there's four ways to prevent vampires: Garlic, pumpkins, something holy (like a cross), and the sun. They don't like melt in the sun, but they shimmer and stuff. I put on black short shorts, a violet t-shirt, and a dark denim vest. I put on black converse sneakers and a little make-up. I want a boyfriend, but I would never fall for Parker. I opened my locker right when I got to school. I saw Chyna holding hands with Parker. I overheard them, "Go with me to The Tunnel of Love. I know a guy who works there that owes me a favor." Chyna nodded. Oh my gosh, he said the same thing to Fiona but with the haunted house. I noticed Lisa coming up to me. I hugged her. "Hey Jessie! Cute outfit!" she said grinning. I smiled. "You always cheer me up Lees," I replied smiling. "Wow, who's that hottie over there?"she asked fanning herself. I noticed she was looking at Parker. "You don't ever want to date him, trust me, EVER," I said looking worried. "Why, is he a player?" "Much much worse than that." I said.

I drove Lisa to Secret Salad for dinner that night. I told her all about Fiona, and Parker being a vampire. She didn't believe me. She did the same thing Fiona did. She slapped down five bucks and walked home. I ate both our salads. I'm beginning to think I shouldn't eat at Secret Salad anymore. The next morning I heard a police report that a girl was found dead in an amusement park ride. She had blonde curls. Chyna. I saw Lisa walk in school with Parker's arm around her. He could barley put it on her shoulder, but I' not here to judge. "Can I talk to Lisa for a minute?" I asked trying to not yell and be polite. Parker rolled his eyes and kissed Lisa on the cheek. "I thought I said to stay away from him," I hissed. "You don't rule my life," she said walking back to him. They held hands and walked away. The next day, Lisa had the flu. I'm kinda glad. I don't think vampires want sick people. I saw a guy with shaggy black hair. He wore all black and I think he might have had eyeliner on. "Hi, I'm Jessie," I said. "Hey," was all he said back to me. I looked up. Oh Fiona. If only you were here to see my fifth relationship. We started talking and I told him everything. My name, Parker, and Fiona. We planned a date tonight at a high school club. We got to hang out and stuff. His name is Simon. I can't believe I finally got a goth guy. I smiled when he left. I was so excited for tonight.

That night, I went to the club. I saw Lisa there. I ran over and hugged her. "Welcome back to a healthy life!" I said happily. She laughed her genuine laugh. She hugged me back. We were friends again. I thought for a moment. If she's here, then isn't Parker here too? Oh, please no. "Hey! Here comes Parker!" she said lovingly. "I gotta go see if Simon's here yet," I said right when Parker was next to her. I saw Simon over at the snack table. I started walking toward him. I stopped dead in my tracks. He kissed Georgia. Not like a 'Hello' kiss, but a romantic one. My heart sank. My eyes swelled up with tears. I ripped off the necklace he gave me and threw it on the ground. He turned around, and saw me crying. Georgia slowly walked away. "Jessie, i-it's not what you-" "NO!" I screamed. "IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THINK!" I ran to the bathrooms. I sat there for awhile crying and thinking. I heard the door creek open. I sucked up my boogers. Parker saw me crying and sat down next to me. "I saw what Simon did to you," he said turning my head towards him. "Your even more beautiful then Lisa or Chyna." "Go away I said. "I know what you did to Fiona and Chyna, your probably going to kill Lisa too." He looked angry. "That's it! I'm tired of playing these silly romance games!" He jumped on top of me. I cried again. "NO!" I screamed. People heard me and crowded in the bathroom area. Simon came in with Georgia, of course. He gaped his mouth open and let go of Georgia's hand. I shut my eyes as Parker lowered his head. He bit me. I opened my eyes. He was still there. "I can't bite you!" he said getting up. I gave him a confused look. I thought for a moment. I remembered from my book, you can stop a vampire with something holy. "My name!" I called happily. "What?!" he asked grabbing tightly to my arm. "My real name is Jesus!" he stumbled. "My name!" I said getting up. He hissed at everyone. They all yelled. I pushed Parker out of the way. "I never thought my real name would come in handy. My mother should have never used the Lord's name in vein, but it saved my life," I said grabbing on to the locket Mom gave me a few months ago. Simon hugged me with a tear on his cheek. I hugged him too.

"Wow, I never thought your name would save you," Mom said. I hugged her. "I'm going to kill Parker tomorrow," I said. "How?" "There are two ways, stab him in the heart, or chop off is head," I said using hand motions. "Go with the heart stabbing," Mom said. I nodded.

Epilogue:
I watched Jessie stab Parker in the heart. I smiled. I was so happy she lived. I yawned. After watching her for awhile made me tired. Jessie and Simon got back together. My face lit up. I couldn't find the love of my life, thanks to Parker. Now he's dead, thank goodness Jess new everything there is to know about vampires. The world got better after that stab. All I cared about now, was Jessie. My best friend, even through Heaven.
