“Mommy? Where do babies comes from?” Khloe’s eyes are big and wondering.
“Babies come from Walmart.”
Her eyebrows furrow at the center of her forehead. “Walmart…” She whispers to no one.
I watch her, chuckling to myself. “That’s right. Mommies and daddies look through all the babies until they find one that they like and take them home.”
“Where do mommies and daddies come from?”
“ We come from California.”
Khloe is thoughtful for a minute and then she says. “Can we take Daddy back and get a new Daddy. One who doesn’t snore?” We have never laughed so hard.
