At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. It all started when the stem fair was annouced. I had decided to prove that wild thing can be tamed not to hurt people. I chose a man eating plant as my experiment, but at the time it could only eat meatballs. I had to order this plant from over seas two weeks early. and this is how it went...
" Hey Abby what did you say you wanted to do for our project again." My best friend Ruth asked me.
" I want to tame a baby eating plant before it is able to eat us. But it might be hard because they grow sort of fast." I awnsered.
"Ok, but if somethong happens its your fault."
"Nothing will happen." I start to whisper," I hope."
"What was that?" she asked.
I awnser nevously,"Oh nothing."
After school Ruth came to my house to start work on our project. My plant had arrived during school time.
"We should name our plant I mean if it works it could be our pet!" I exclaimed.
" Great idea Abby. Hoew about after we finish taming it just to see how it acts then we can name it off the behaviors." Ruth says.
"Ok. Sounds good." I okayed it.
The next week afer the project worked...
" Wow Ruth it actually worked lets go and feed it. The experiments in my locker." I say.
"Ok."
"Here you go. Eat this."
"Thanks." we heard a sqeaky voice.
"Who said that?" me and and Ruth say in unison.
"Me silly."
"Ahhhhh!"I slam my locker shut and go to the caffateria to talk to Ruth.
"It must have learned to talk." Ruth explains.
"We can't tell any one or they might steal her or kidnap us andtry to force the out of us that we don't have!"
Later at my house"Hey you plant.At the stem fair or anywhere else public for that matter you can't talk or who knows what might happen. Ok."
"Ok, but what about here?" the sqeaky voice said.
"Thats fine as long as its just me and Ruth around." I tell her.
"Ok,but call me sqeaky I like that name." the plant explains.
"Ok and be on your best behaviormostly at the stem fair sqeaky." I say.
"Ok. Can I go to school with you tommorrw you guys?"
" Ok, but only once unless its the stem fair."
