Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Prolouge;

I stared at the wolf in front of me. It was huge, larger than any other wolf I'd ever seen, its flank twitching as if from anticipation. Fear etching through every inch of my body. My feet dancing in place, as I prepared to run, and run I did. My legs taking me far and fast, as I zig-zagged past trees. The wolf gave a yip before giving chance.
I ran far enough that I could feel my heartbeat in my feet. The wolf on my tail the entire time, never tiring, nor boring of chase. The trees around me stood still, as I searched for a hiding place, all of their branches high above my head, far above my reach.
No place to run, no place to hide, and no help anywhere. Dropping to my knees, I sighed. "Come on you damned wolf! I tire of these games of chase." Bowing my head I waited.

She stayed human. I couldn't understand why. Watching her from the shadows, I laid down as she kneeled, her head bent. Her golden hair falling over her elegantly carved face, she truly was beautiful, as she breathed heavily. Did she fancy herself as a human? Or did she simply not know her true nature? So many questions and no answers. Rising, I stepped from the shadows.
