There back again by Paige (classic books for 7th graders .txt) 📖

As I walked down stairs and into the living room. I found the newspaper on the coffee table. I picked it up and thats when I saw the headline in bold black letters.

THERE BACK AGAIN

Now you see there has been problems in this town before with supposed vampires but you see nobody believes in vampires. So I kept reading.
Numerous animal attacks have happened in
Starline city this month. We have calculated
ten just this week. Now the real question is
are these really animal attacks or are the
vampires back again? Starline city has had a
background of vampires. Now are they back
to stay?

Then my mom came down the stairs.
“mom have you seen this.”
“what”
“ this newspaper add.”
“no I just woke up and Caleb brought that in at like five.”
“ well you should really read it.”
she picked up the paper and read it. She put it down and went to the kitchen and took some things from the refrigerator and put it on the counter. Then she turned on the oven and filled a pan with something that looked like pieces of ham and egg. Then she took some bread from the bread box and put it in the toaster.
“ mom what are you doing?”
“cooking breakfast before your sister wakes up.”
“ she doesn't eat breakfast”
“ she has to do something today and will not be able eat lunch and is going to be late for super. so she told me to make this I do not really no what it is but she found this in an online cookbook” She kept on adding stuff to the counter and putting stuff in the oven and stuff was popping out of the toaster and she was pouring orange juice in cups. Then my sister came into the kitchen. My sister is sixteen and is well a girlie girl she gets what she wants and nothing less she is spoiled.
When finally my mom was done I asked her
“ so are you even worried about this at all?”
“ why would I be theres no such thing as vampires”
“ well because the attacks started around the time Caleb and his sister Eve came to town didn't you notice that at all?”
“ no because I no that there are no such thing as vampires”
“ but what if there were and he was one of them what would you do then?”
“ I don't no because I no and you no there are no such things as vampires am I right?”
“ I guess”
“ good then get ready for school or your going to be late”
I walked upstairs and got ready for school but was surprised when I found an envelope with my name on it in black pen I opened it and found a letter. Under it was the newspaper add from this morning. I was totally shocked and scared. But I read the letter any way. It was written in black blocky writing.

I took the note and folded up the note and put it back in the envelope and stuck it back in my drawer. I walked downstairs and out the door. I walked to school.
When I got there I was already late. But when I rounded the corner I saw Caleb and Eve standing outside by the door. When I got over to the door the first thing Eve said was you were right.
“about what”
“ We are what you think we are and we were n ot the ones attacking people and you need to. know that we came here to protect these people from the evil vampires.
