The beautiful woman was sitting on a bench opposite mine in the beautiful park.
Her eyes met mine while I was peeking.
I was nervous for a second, but then she smiled with her red rosy lips.
I pretended not to notice but looked at her again. She was steadily looking in my direction and smiled again teasingly. This time I smiled back.
She then slowly gestured with her fingers to come. I worked my courage and was about to stand.
Then a burly man walked past me towards her, the both then hugged each other as I watched, embarrassed.
“You’re kidding me!” The husband exclaimed.
“It’s the truth.” The wife replied.
“Of course you’re always right!” He said sarcastically.
“I never said that, did I?”
“You may have as well said that.”
“Look, this isn’t going to work.”
She swiftly walked into the bedroom and came back dragging her luggage bag, “I am going to my mom’s.”
“Honey, wait!” He grasped her. “Alright you’re right. I shouldn’t have said that.”
She gently hugged him.
“But there is some mistake on your part too.”
She glared. “No way was it my mistake.”
“You’re kidding me!”
Life is a vicious circle.
Two strangers were sitting in a bar.
The first one said, “Do you agree if I say Honesty is the best policy?”
“Nah,” The other guy disagreed, “The best policy is saying ‘I don’t give a damn.’”
“Do you have a proof to back up your supposition?”
“Nope.”
“You don’t have a proof and yet claim that statement is true? My supposition that ‘Honesty is the best Policy’ has so many proofs in literature. Ergo, I have proved that you are not correct.”
The other guy looked at him and said after a brief pause, “I don’t give a damn.”
