My name is Zaria and this is the story of how I lived after my death.
It all started with the day I died. I was on my first, what you call, ”date” in 1776. We were going for a walk in the woods and my “date”, Vel , and I sat down on the grass in the middle of a clearing. Vel sat behind me and starts rubbing my shoulders . The he bent down like he was going to whisper something in my ear but instead, he bites me. Right there out in the open, he just bites me. That is when I relies that Vel is no ordinary guy, he is not the sensible loving guy I thought. No, he was something bad. Something horrible. He was something from the night. He was a vampire. You thought vampires could only be found in fairytales, right? WRONG! Because this….is no Tale. This? This is my life.
Now it is 2010 and I am wandering the streets of NewYork at midnight watching all the people going to and from their jobs. My stomach growls as I duck into the shadows of an alleyway. The next thing I know a hand is clamped over my mouth and an arm is around my waist pulling me back, I kick backwards but hit nothing. Then my back hits brick and I'm staring at a big burly guy in his mid-twenties. he stares at me and says," hey there sweets." he gives me a drunken slash stupid smile. i smile at him evily and knee him in the groin, he folds over in pain groaning. i grab his arm and the next thing he knows he's up against the wall with his face pressed to the bricks. "You sneaking up on me like that? Yeah, not your best idea." i say right before I bite him and drink my fill. His blood tastes bitter but I don't care because I am starving. When I'm finished i dump his sorry ass in a garbage can a couple meters down the alley.
I go running around the corner, and run smack into a solid wall. When i realize my eyes are closed and open them to see what I had ran into, I find my self ontop of,not a what but a who. I am laying ontop a very handsome boy that is about my age, well when I was alive that is.;)
