At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you donโt realize the full power of fiction. One cold day a farmer decided to grow two fir trees in his yard ready for Christmas .
He planted with great pride and passion. The soil was wet and fertile the wind was not blowing.
A wonderful day to plant. He dug two deep holes and placed the fir tree seedlings and watered them
Daily he nurtured his two fir trees. The fir tree planted on the right side seemed to grow faster than the other
The fir tree on the left named Toby grew slowly and looked wilted . Sappy seemed strong full of gasto. The farmer became
Concerned wondering what was going on. Toby was dropping and could not stand upright. The farmer began to speak to Toby why do you stoop over and not stand upright like a proud Christmas Tree that will soon be ready for a home. Toby replied 'I thought I was home' The Farmer shouted You are for sale. When Sappy heard him . He began to weep that his humble brother will be cut from his life. The farmer looked at him and said not you Sappy you are a strong fir tree with lovely pine cones. I know you will make a home warm at Christmas with ornaments dangling on you. The children will enjoy touching and smelling your sweet pine aroma. Toby is a loss for me he is not shaping like a christmas tree. He reminds me of a child that lacks nourishment, all frail and light in colour and size. Sappy told the farmer he was not amused with his comments about his brother. I ache when you put him down. We can never be like. Appreciate us for who we are not just for your own use. We make homes warm and cheery at Christmas time but it does not mean Toby and I like it. Missing the fresh and airy space,being cut and put in a house
maybe cold and damp or in a hot house masked with the heating system. I find it humiliating . When does it stop ? Saving a fir tree at Christmas time is a start. Plant a fir tree at Christmas not cut them down . Decorate where've the fir tree grows at Christmas time. It is obvious my wish as a fir tree may not be granted because I cannot voice myself.
