It Changed Me

It was October 18, 1985 the day that changed the rest of my life. I was suppose to be heading to the movies to meet my date, but i never made it there. I was walking through the woods staring into the sky, It was a full moon tonight. Then it happened, the thing jumped on me and clawed into my shoulder. Pain rushed through my body, blood crimson read among my white Tee, the creature turned and howled before running off. This cant be happening werewolves are old folk tales told to scare kids from venturing of by their selves. I winced in pain as the burning was taking over my whole body, i wiggled on the ground it was unbearable. A yell came forth, a cry for help but no on was around the hear me. I'm all alone nobody or help, I cant go back home what will he think of me. Scenes started to play in my head, and was replaced by bloodshed and tears of the fallen ones. I stood and walked towards a small puddle of water, what looked back horrified me. A huge black creature with glistening eyes, and white pearling sharp teeth. I shook my head, and howled in defiance. I wandered endlessly until a caught the smell of my old town, i ventured to the cliff and saw my date waiting for me. A tear trailed down my new found hairy cheek, i howled mourning for the life that I had just lost. I walked among the dark alleys trying not to get caught, i found myself face-to-face with my old home. I could smell the supper mom was cooking, the smell of all my dear family members and that's when happened i drooled over the delicious smell. No i cant kill my family, im not a killer i thought. i rustling among some old newspaper caught my attention, I sniffed the air a rat. I grabbed it with incredible speed and started to eat, one gulp is all it took. I curled up and fell asleep, I was woke the next morning by my confused little brother, "why are you here?" he asked helping me off the ground. I just shrugged my shoulders and headed home, the thought of what happened to me nudging my thoughts. I walked inside my house ignoring everyone's reaction and went straight to my room, I just need some sleep I thought. I woke to my mother and my family staring at me, "You alright?" she asked me, "yes! can you all just get out!" i snapped back. They looked at me one more time before they turned to leave out the room, not realizing what time it was i went back to sleep. I didn't notice how long i was sleeping, it was like i was hibernating for Winter. I woke to find out it was a full moon and that i was transforming inside my house, I managed to escape out the window into the woods and deal with this terrible beast that was taking control. For the whole night it was sniffing, tracking the creature that did this and eating rats. I didn't approve of this eating habit, but it was better than family and friends of my home town. I sat back against a tree and watched the full moon as it glistened upon the night sky, my curse to be this beast when you rise. I howled all night regretting that I even walked among these woods that UN faithful night, I turned my head to see my maker. Its your fault I thought, with a blink of the eye he was gone again. I vow to this day, that one day I will kill you and make you regret turning me into this horrible beast you call a Werewolf!
