Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Taboo

There hasn't been much going on in my tenth-grade life lately. No drama at school, or the latest gossip. I dyed my hair chestnut brown, but the topic died down soon enough. I got on the bus and sat in my normal seat next to my best friend Stacy.
"Hey Stacy!" I greet my BFF. Mind as well start the day off positively. She looks at me and scrunches up her nose. Stacy flips her blonde hair back and puts her bag on my seat. What!? Moody much? Whatever her problem is, she's bound to lat it pass over soon. I find a seat in the back of the bus and pretend not to notice all the faces looking back at me. So much for positive.
Before first period class starts, I go look for my friends at their lockers. Stacy is by locker 412 talking to Tory and Gabby. As I come close I hear a piece of their conversation.
"I heard that Ivori has been...oh here she comes!" says Stacy in a hushed voice. The three of them calm down. They were talking about me! What's with the taboo?
"Hey guys do you have a pencil I can borrow?" I look at Gabby's shift eyes.
"No, Ivori I don't have any." mutters Gabby and storms down the hall, colliding right into Chad! Her backpack fall and stuff fall through the open zipper...pencils. I turn to see Stacy and Tory rushing down to the girls' bathroom. The bell rings.
All through first period class I wonder what made them act that way. Do I stink? No, that can hardly be it! I always wear the finest cherry blossom perfume. Maybe it's because they're all blonde and I just died my hair brown. Ha! My friends couldn't be that shallow. I know they only talk to people who are considered "cool", but would they really dislike me because of that?
After the eighth period bell, I look for Stacy. There she is! I can tell from her wavy honey blond locks.
"Stacy!" I call out and wave at her with a smile. I will not let this friendship go without at least knowing why! She turns around and sees me. Her face looks...disgusted. I head closer and when I'm in arms length I tap her shoulder.
"DON'T TOUCH ME YOU FREAK!" Yells Stacy. Her face is red with anger. I shrink back. Everyone passing, stares at me. This is humiliating, and I don't even know why.
"Why?" I whisper and then I say it louder, much louder. "Why?!" It's my turn to be angry! Stacy turns surprised. "What's your problem?
"Because you have AIDS! Stacy replies in a hushed angry voice.
Then I just blow up on her. "WHAT? Where did you make that up at? We both know you're not the smarted tool in the shed. What I didn't know is that your as shallow as a puddle!" I've never even done anything that would get me AIDS!
She looks around. Apparently I made her look bad. Stacy's face softens and she says "Okay, then let's go to the mall later." With that said she jumps on the bus and I go to the back even though she pats the seat next to her. I don't want to be her friend. To see how she would treat me if I did have it, turns me off!
When I get home, I think about going back to blonde. Then I decide not to. I don't want anyone mistaking me for Stacy.
