WHY ME?!
Looking around the dark eerie house, I slowly walk down the steps and turning the sharp corner Ioh so very much hate in this big house. Why did we have to move here is what always runs through my mind every day. It has never changed even after we’ve been here for about 6 months now.
Sighing softly as I look around the kitchen, whispering softly, “Really?” I honestly was hoping it was my dad coming home this late. He usually does. He’s always at work in the late hours, being a actor and having his own business apparently keeps him busy. I shake my head, turning around to head back up the stairs as a soft whisper stops me in my tracks. Slowly turning my body around, I stare dead at a dark shade of spot. Not fully knowing how or why I looked there but knowing it was for a greater reason.
Something moves and my breathe hitches in my throat, knowing it’s the person from my dreams. This is exactly how it starts and I wasn’t sure how I never realized it. Standing very still as the shadow keeps moving till he reaches a spot where a tiny bit of light enters. He smiled darkly at me, showing a set of pearly white fangs. Taking another step towards me, I did the same in stepping back. For what, I had no idea. I felt like I knew him in a way. My reaction seemed to have surprised him as his smile turned so sincere and his eyes widened. Slowly grinning as my hand sneakily reached for the counter knowing I have his full attention. Grabbing ahold of the knife, making sure it doesn’t gleam in the light, turning so I can place it behind my back.
I noticed the blink he gave as his eyes narrowed and I quickly stoped in my tracks, watching him, knowing he wasn’t hypnotized anymore. I smiled so kindly that he was again. Smirking as I sneakily pulled the knife from my back, striking him in his stomach and he gasped. The way he narrows his eyes at me, I can’t help but notice the pain and disappointment in them. Frowning as I slowly pulled it out, catching his body as he slowly fell down in to my arms. I softly pressed a kiss to his forehead, knowing I’ll be so dead if I do this. Sighing softly as I leaned into him, speaking a few words in Latin. I slowly pressed a soft and gentle kiss to his temple.
“Please…” Taking a deep breath, I cut my wrist with the same knife. Placing my wrist gently to his lips, telling him to drink it and he does. Smiling sadly at him before, hitting him sharply in the spot I stabbed him in to stop. Smirking as he hissed at me, still laying in my arms not moving. Knowing I’ll have to do exactly what I knew I’d die for.
Pulling him close to me, I slowly kissed his temple. Closing my eyes, I focused on me being his soul. The two of us as one and only one. Nothing could ever break us. Smiling as the glowing bright light flashed under the lids of my eyes. Sighing softly as I entered his mind, body and soul. The two of us are one. Smiling brightly as I slowly healed the wound, using every ounce of my power to heal everything up. Making him stronger but not truly meaning to. Frowning as the thought of me wanting to be a vampire pops into my mind and my heart strikes.
Gasping as I’m pulled out of his body and I fall back just as quickly as he jumps up, turning to look at me, catching me in his arms. I knew in the back of my mind that this would happen. The thought of me wanting to be a vampire can pull me out of the spirit realm. The thought of being anything inhuman can do it. It can strike you anywhere and everywhere and I never fully understood it. Until now do I fully understand what my grandmother first told me. But I couldn't help it, I wanted to save him. I felt it. I felt the darkness in him all that evil and yet I wanted him alive. I never wanted anyone to be dead.
I lay there shaking as I slowly became unable to breathe on my own. It happened so quickly though and I didn’t want this to happen. A tear slide down my cheek as black spots filled my vision. I felt movement as he slowly picked me up, carrying me outthe back door.
