Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Ten Years

“Ten years! You want to throw away ten years?” he screamed at me.

“It’s best this way,” I say. I dry my cheeks with a handkerchief. My sobs were beginning to draw the attention of people passing by. He grabbed my arm hard and I shrieked. A woman stopped and watched us with concerned eyes, but then slowly moved away from us. I nudged away from him, keeping my head down. “These past ten years were a mistake.” I felt my heart break with the sound of my words. I hesitantly stepped onto the train. I did not look back.

I Walk In Blue

I walk in blue, marking the map of my life. It’s all so easy; no step is hard to take since it’s all determined. I see you coming, your shade a bit darker than mine. It’s a warning, I say. I try hard to ignore it. I back up, hide my face from you, and take another path; sunny travels and never any rain. But seasons change and time reveals the truest truth of all, which is my own shade of blue, will always connect with you. I grow weary and give in to what is destined to be mine.

Shame

I wear it always. It’s there blotching my pale skin. It can be found behind my distant eyes. It’s in my absence, and in my lack of words. I cringe that your blood is mine. I say that I love you, and I think that I probably do. But we aren’t the same. I am sorry for this. Tradition and guilt is what keeps us together. You gave me the breath of life and a chance to go free. Therefore, I cannot blame you. So I will continue to lie to you, and you will continue not to see it.
