I held the sword in my hand a felt it's weight. It was a little heavy for me, but that was because I was not used to it. I didn't know what to do with it so I flung it away, bored already. It hit the Prince and almost killed him. So, I was jailed for 3 years and yesterday I was let out. When I first walked into the sunshine I realised that everyone was staring at me. It was probably because I was wearing dirty clothes and looked very pale. I walked across the courtyard
and up the long winding stairs to my quarters. Little did I realise that I was heading straight for the new quarters of the Court Physician. I entered without a care.
'And who do you think you are?' Said a short, portly man in the west corner.
'This is where I live!' I said, surprised.
'No...you aren't the one who was let out of prison just this morning are you?' He asked me, curiosly.
Now you may have noticed by now, if you are very clever, that I have not mentioned anything about me yet. That is because I am a girl of 13, and not one to be turned down in a duel. I had trained since I was 4 and had beaten some of the best knights. But I would bet that I wouldn't be able to beat of them now, seeing as I hadn't even held a sword, let alone fought with one, for three years. Now you might be thinking, but why was she jailed for flinging away a sword that nearly killed a Prince when she was so good with a sword. This is because I was 10 at the time and that was the first time I was given a sword of that weight.
Anyway, back to me and the Court Physician.
'Yes I am.' I replied, standing up straight and showing only confidence.
'Then you are staying in that room at the back and you are to help me until we find suitable work for you'
