The sun was down, no longer revealing it's warmth on my abused skin. My wings were a bloody, torn mess. Feathers astray, I could not fly, I barely could walk.
Tears streaked my face, my eyes were red from tiredness. I shivered, they had not provided enough clothing. I was wearing a white halter top with grey sweat pants. My feet were bare and had multiple cuts. I felt hopeless and tired, I would love to lay here, just for a second...
My blonde, curly hair was soaked with the previous rain of yesterday. It had now reached my waist from the absent trimmings.
My eyes roamed the forest, looking for any pursuit that I was being followed. I have been running from Him ever since they decided to place me here in Forks.
I looked past the trees and saw a sign declaring "Welcome To La Push" . My disappointment wavered, as I saw a pair of children playing by the black water.
"Claire, Come here" I heard a soft, melodious voice call to the child that was building a very small, lopsided castle. The child was gorgeous in a way, with dark black hair that reached her shoulders and wide dark brown eyes. She had russet skin that would bring revolt to my father's eyes, but as I think of it, my father is a monster to even his children 's eyes.
The woman who called to her was very beautiful, with the same features as the child. Black hair, dark brown eyes and the same russet skin. Not even the three scars brought a minimum damage to her beauty.
I cannot believe how peaceful they were, they then went inside this small structure that my friend, Sarah would call a house.
It was clear to me that they were Indians, I expected guards to come burst through the doors and restrain them.
I felt very light-headed, and my vision began to sway. I had to get help before I faint.
I brought my wings to my back, letting them fold in. To those who saw my back would describe it as as very silvery scars. This was due to the fact that my wings had a silvery outline.
My light head got worse and I began walking to the white house that the woman and the girl had went in.
I paused as I felt my hairs stand up. I felt a cold hand on my arm and felt my blood drain.
I turned around and saw Him. The very one that put me in my coffin.
"Now Clarabelle," He started, feigning a stern voice. "You do know that you cannot run from me, is that right?"
I gritted my teethe as I felt that dreaded sense come on, his death was in my eyes then...
I was in a field, I felt pursuit and I whirled around to face it.
"Get out of my way, poodle," I growled.
In front of me was a russet wolf that was about the size of a horse.
The wolf growled. I charged at him, knocking him over.
The wolf whimpered and struggled to get up, I smiled and wrapped my arms around it, in a position, similar to a hug.
"This will teach you not to mess with my mate." I said.
The wolf struggled good and manage to squirm out my way. I flew back and barely looked up before the wolf snapped my head off, cleanly.
I gasped, and felt tears swarm in my eyes again.
"Please let go, Caleb, I have information to tell you" I said,, squirming to loosen his hold.
He hesitated and slowly let go. He stood, tense. His blonde hair in a new locations. He wore jeans and a button shirt.
"What?" He demanded. I cringed, this is why I could no longer love him , he was a monster, his beauty only a distraction.
"Please leave me alone, Caleb. In saw how you were going to die and it isn't pleasant. There is a creature out there that is more lithe than you, and even though I no longer love you, I do not want you to get hurt." I stated nervously. My light head had vanished but I felt it coming back and I did not want to loose consciousness in front of him.
He threw his head back and laughed. I was confused, he knew about my curse and he knew my feeling when I tell people and they laugh. I am deeply hurt.
After 2 minutes, he stopped and stared at me with a complex emotion across his face. In my vision, it was starting to morph and waver.
"Fine," He said, he was instantly in front of my face. I will leave you be, but do not expect this to be forever." He caressed my cheek with his cold hand and I cringed as he kissed my cheek. These affections I used to love but now they were revolting to me.
I looked at his ruby red eyes as he looked at my ice blue ones. He might have mistaken this as a meaningful look but I was just trying to understand how he can be so cruel and nice at the same time.
He vanished and I felt relief flood me before my light head took over it, my vision blurred once more and I took a few steps before I was at the front door. I grinned faintly at my strength and I raise my hand to knock on the cold piece of wood.
The door opened before revealing the woman who called "Claire" inside the house.
My faintness swarmed over and I fell to the ground as it began to rain once more
I felt something cold press my forehead. I tossed my head, letting my blonde wide ringlets blocking the cold item. There was a pause and I felt a small hand on my forehead.
Oh no...
I smiled at the large man. He had black hair, dark brown eyes and the same russet skin that I had.
"I love you, Sam." I said. Sam was the large man's name. I loved how I said his name. I loved him in general.
"I love you too, Emily." He declared, kissing my nose gently. I giggled and threw my arms around him.
"I am going to the store to get some milk before the boys come back, do you want anything?" I asked, as I unwrapped his arms and walked to the living room and grabbed my bag.
Sam shook his head and gave me a passionate kiss before walking back into the kitchen.
I stepped outside of the house. I began thinking about buying some lingerie for Sam...
I was too caught up in my own thoughts that I did not see the truck that ran the light.
I froze, a deer caught in headlights as the truck got closer. I screamed as it crashed into me, I felt my bones break and I felt my legs get smashed and crushed.
I love you, Sam was my last thought as I faded into the black.
I screamed and jumped from the soft area I was placed at. Emily, startled, dropped the cold foreign object she placed to my forehead.
She grinned and picked up the item, "Boys," she called. "She's awake."
I felt rumbling and I screamed as I got picked up behind in a bone-crushing hug.
I screamed and felt myself fall into the death of the stranger...
I looked at everyone around me with a weak smile. They all meant the world to me, not just my imprint, Jessie.
I felt my eyes rest on her as I caressed her hand, through the 45 years we have been together ever since she was introduced to me as a vampire's relative, I felt nothing but love for her.
"I love you, Jessica" I said, my voice shaky with age. Well, I guess that is what you get when your 80 years old.
Her response was a single sob as she clutched my hand.
"I love you too, Seth." She said, her red hair was in a nest, her blue eyes were looking at me from my bed.
I felt sleepy. I wanted to rest.
I felt my eyes droop and with a sigh, I fell asleep and never awoke.
Even through the shock of the hug, I felt very optimistic. He was going to die peacefully like I wanted every being to do, not with knifes and guns and violence, just a nice sleep.
"Seth," Emily chided gently, her hands on her hips. "Put her down now."
I felt those strong arms loosen and I slowly went to the ground.
"Thank you," I said, laughing a little nervously.
"No problem," Seth said, shrugging. "If I wouldn't I bet you that Emily would've stabbed me with a broom or something."
The way he spoke was strange, it sounded very gangly and awkward. I like it.
"I'm sorry," Emily said, her hand on my shoulder. I did not have to worry since I saw hers already, if the future changed in some way then I would continue to see her death's.
"You were out for about a day, honey." Her voice was lace with worry. "Do you know what happened to make you go bonkers and faint like that?" She asked.
I was confused, "bonkers" was not in my vocabulary.
She must read my emotion that was clear on my face because she laughed slightly and said, "Honey, what made you faint?" She asked.
I panicked, they were not to know about Caleb's secret, that he was a demonic vampire.
"I am sorry, but I do not remember the previous happenings that made me go "bonkers and faint."" I stated bluntly.
Seth and her looked at me oddly.
"Um, " She said. "Okkayy, do
