Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you donโ€™t realize the full power of fiction. My Fallen Angel

I knew he was different when he first walked out of his new dark blue Corvette. We all knew, my friends and I. We were sitting in the bed of my black El Cameno. Cole handed me a cigarette. He took a long drag og his own when the Corvette pulled up and parked in the spot across from my car.Cole started coughing, surpised that a fancy car parked in our school's trashy parking lot. His twin brother, Kel, and i slapped him on the back.

"Smoke another one there, Cole." I said as I put my own cigarette between my lips and lit. I took a couple drags and blew the smoke at Sarah. She coughed and smacked me on the back of my head. She rubbed her hazel eyes and glared at me.

"Do you always have to do that everytime you smoke one of those things?"

""Yes." I tooke another long drag and blew it through my nose. Sarah rolled her eyes and looked at the car across from my car. Her eyes widen and she shook my shoulder. She pointed at the car, speechless. I followed her finger to the guy coming out of the Corvette. I became speechless myself.

He looked like an angel. A dark angel. He was tall. About 6 foot even. Short, dark hair with his bangs spiked. One piece of his hair hung down his forehead. He was tan. He had a pretty face. He had a strong chin with a dimple in the middle of it. His green eyes sparkeled underneith his long, dark eyelashes. This guy was built. His tight shirt showed of his chisled chest. He looked dark. Evil. Mysterious. Bad ass pretty much.

"Wow. He's yummy." Sarah said and looked at me. I flicked my cigarette and took another hit off it. I nodded in agreement and blew the smoke out and watched it travel in the wind o the new guy. The smoke swormed around his body. His gaze shot my way. My body stiffened. His gaze was ice cold and goosebumbs spread all over me. I shivered. He smiled. Sarah turned to look at me and glared. If looks could kill, I thought.

"Why do you get all the hot guys?" I broke the stare down between us and looked at Sarah. I took a long drag from my cigarette and flicked the butt across the lot. I blew the smoke in her face.

"What are you talking about?" Sarah smiles and elbowed me.

"The new gu is starring at you." I turned my head the other way, pretending that something else caught my attention.

"I don't see why he is." Cole said, "there's ain't much to stare at." My head snapped back around. Cole was taking a hit of his cigarette when I nailed him in the arm. He hissed in pain and dropped his cigarette. I picked it up, grabbed my bag and jumped out of the bed of the El Camino. I heard him mutter bitch then a slap across his face. I smiled and dropped the cigarette and crushed it with my heel. Then, I heard it. It was like music. Creepy, dark music. I turned around and saw the new guy laughing. At me. I could feel my face getting hot. I hated being laughed at. I glared at him and he winked at me. My eyes widen and i turned, heading for first period with that laugh stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

After school, I walked to my car in hurry to get home. I got into my car, stuck the key into the ignition and the engine roared when Cole jumped on top of my hood.

"Isabelle! Where do you think you're going?" he pressed his face against my window. I glared at him and turned on my windsheild wipers. I put the car in reverse and watched Cole roll off my hood. I smiled and watched him get up. He had a really evil look on his face. It scared me.

"What the fuck Isa!" he kicked my head lights and started punching my car. My smirk disappeared and jumped out of my car. Cole looked at me and charged with his fist in the air. I froze with fear when i looked in his eyes. There was something wrong. His eyes were filled with hate. He looked like he really wanted to hurt me. Before Cole got to me, someone in dark clothes stepped in front of me. It all happened within a second. The new guy, Blake Sual, jumped in front of me, grabbed Cole's collar and kneed Cole in the stomach. Cole gasped for air and fell but Blake still held him up by the collar. Blake lowered his head down and whispered in Cole's ear. Cole nodded and Blake let him go. Sarah and Kel was there. Apparently, they had seen everything. The looks on their face showed that. Sarah tried to help cole but Kel grabbed her by the shoulder and said something to her. She glared and looked back at Cole, who was trying his best to stand, with a sympathetic look on her face. Kel looked at Blake. They starred at each other for awhile. Finally, Kel nodded and took Sarah to his car. That was weird. Kel always there to help his twin brother. Something was going on and I didn't like it.

Cole was on his feet. He looked at me and mummbled sorry. I opened my mouth to speak but he turned around and left. Probably to look for his brother. I starred after him. There was something wrong with him. The Cole that was just here was not my best friend. The guy that about attacked had something evil that showed in his eyes. My Cole would havenever try to hit me or beat the crap out of my car. Yeah, he would have cussed me out and got in my face but we would have gotten over it and would have laughed about it later on. It made me sad. I didn't know what was wrong with my friend. I couldn't help him.

I forgot Blake was still here until he touched my shoulder. I looked at him and shrugged his hand off my shoulder. I took a couple steps back. He lifted an eyebrow, confused about why I retreated.

"Listen, I'm grateful that you stopped Cole from decking me but did you really have to knee him in the stomach like that?"

Blake looked in the direction Cole walked. "It was the only wa to calm him down", Blake looked back at me, "I'm sorry if I upset you and your friend. Sarah, I believe her name is. Please, forgive me. It was not my intentions."

I nodded, "What did you whisper to Cole?"

"Calming words."

"What about that strring contest you and Kel had going on? What was up with that?"

He shrugged, "Nothing really."

I accepted his answer. I didn't believe it but I didn't feel like interrogating him any further. I nodded towards him and wnet to get in my car. I opened the door and went to get in but Blake grabbed my shoulder and gently pulled me from my car. I turned around to face him, ready to tell him off.

"I want you to be careful around Cole. Try not to anger or something like this will happen again. You should stay away from him for a couple of days."

"Since when did you know everything about my friends?", I was mad that some stranger was elling me to stay away from my own friend. He had no right.

"Lets just say the twins and I know each other from way back. And I'm just trying to help you." Blake glared at me. Apparently, he wasn't happy with my ungrateful outburst. I glared back and I slapped his hand off my shoulder.

"I'm grateful but I don't need your help." I got in my car. Blake backed away as i backed out of my parking spot. I put my car in drive and sped out of the school's parking lot. Inoticed that everyone else was gone. It was just me and Blake. Well, just Blake now that I was leaving the school's and entering Marion. It was a crappy little city. Nothing to do at all. There was a mall but it only had a few good stores and a movie theater that was too expansive. There was another theater called The Palace. It was just as expensive. Marion was full of places to eat though. So you'll never go hungry. There's a skating rink called Zoomers. My friends and I went every other Friday or whenever late night skate was. It does sound like something little kids would do but its the most exciting thing that will happen on a friday night. Most teenagers in Marion get a job so they'll have something to do. Then, when the kids who have jobs and save some of their money, we all head to Columbuts. They good side, I mean. Wel'll go see a movie, go shopping and then go out to eat.

My friends and I all have jobs. We all put money in a jar for our weekly visits to Columbus. We keep track of hou much we put in the jar to make sure no one takes any out of it. Kel keeps the jar locked up in his computer desk that has secret board that comes out. No one knows where it is except Kel. He was the most trustworthy out of all of us. Smart too. Both twins were smart. The twins were alot alike. Even when they had the same color hair. Kel has short black hair with his bangs pushed to the side so it covered his right eye. He has a lisp, which helped me know which twin was which. Their eyes were different. Kel's ees are a dark, hard green. Cole with his blonde and soft, light green eyes. Cole was a bad ass guy while Kel nice and sweet. Total opposites but alot alike.

I parked in my drive way, which was behind the house next to the garage. I got out of the car and locked it. The puppy we kept in a pen was barking. His name was Logan. A German Shepard/ Siberian Husky. A cute dog but very stupid. I smiled at the dog and went through the back door. I had to push the cats out of the way, that we kept in the basement, so they wouldn't get out. I went up the steps that led to the door that opened up to my kitchen. I had to push the cats away again. I hated cats. I slammed the basement door before they got out. Everything was queit, except for the t.v. that was on in the livingroom. My brothers were still at school, as well as my sister. My mom's van was gone, I noticed when I walked in the dinningroom. Mark was lying on the couch, watching t.v.

Mark was m ex. When we were together his dad kicked him out and he had no place to go. We broke up about three or four weeks ago when found out i was texting (and I repeat, texting, a harmless thing) a
