Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Chap 3

“Ugh! I hate it Kel. Why does it drive me so crazy?” Laylahnni asked Kellan as she stirred the Asian rice.
“What?” He asked totally confused.
“Babe you weren’t paying attention to me!” She whined. “I said that my mom acts like I’m not even here anymore and she still calls Leo, so why not just come up to my room and talk to me. I mean she doesn’t have to pick up a phone or dial numbers with me. I’m easier to access, well easier than someone in a war all the way in Iraq. Sometimes she calls him but he cant answer. So she writes him instead. Still I say I’m easier to reach. Right up the stairs. And I hate that it drives me so crazy and I was wandering why it does.” she finished with a long, loud sigh and sat back down at the kitchen bar.
“I don’t know Beautiful. Some things are unexplainable. don’t get mad, but, jealousy maybe? I’m sorry I cant help you there. Or maybe you may even be a little attention deprived--”
“I DON’T WANT ATTENION!” she screamed into the phone. Everything was silent for about thirty seconds when she said, “Kellan, Baby I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to yell. Pregnancy hormones…” she finished realizing what she just said out loud.
She heard the door open and close.
“What did you say? Do you mean--”
“Kellan, my moms home. I got to go.” she said quickly as if he would forget about the screw up.
She hadn’t told Kellan about it yet because she wasn’t sure if she really was pregnant. And if she was she didn’t know what she was going to do. She only knew that no matter what -- whether Kellan left her or not-- she was keeping the baby.
