There was lightning flashing and thunder shaking the ground. A 12-year-old boy named Jacob Black was running after a swift black figure. Jacob was a blonde haired boy with ocean blue eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, navy blue jeans, and a pair of Nike shoes. Poor Jacob was no match for the figure's quick, swift running. At once, the figure stopped running and turned around. "Darklias Illumitum!" the figure cried. The second he spoke, the forest dissapeared and Jacob was sitting tied up on a chair in darkness. "What the.." Jacob said. His voice echoed throughout his pitch-black environment. "Hello, Jacob..." called a soft voice from around him. "W-what? Who's there? How do you know my name?" Jacob shrieked in a panic. "I am Yutami... Also known as "The black silhouette".. I know your name because I have seen you before.." Yutami said. Jacob was less scared now, because he knew the figure's name. "I now have a question for you,
young Jacob. Why were you chasing me?" Yutami asked. "I don't know. I guess I just did it for fun." Jacob replied, calming down. Suddenly, the darkess dissapeared, and Jacob blinked open his eyes. His dog, Sam, hd woken him up. Sam was a 3-year-old Yorkie. It was 6 A.M in the morning. Jacob yawned. "Sam, go away. I'm tired." Jacob moaned. Sam barked and licked Jacob's face. "No Sam. Leave me alone." Jacob moaned, and he pulled the covers over his head. Sam whimpered, and jumped off the bed. He exited Jacob's room. Luckily for Jacob, it was a Saturday, because his family was moving from Minnesota to a small town in Pennyslvania today. Jacob closed his eyes, and slept for 3 more hours. Jacob was woke up. "Jacob Ryan Black! Get down to the breakfast table this instant! It's 9:38 A.M.!"

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you donโt realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
