Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Jack's target asked him. "I'm here to kill you." Jack said calmly sitting in his targets chair. His target, Mr. Dinne had a nice house. No let him rephrase that. A very nice house. Mr. Dinne turned red. "What have I done to get on a hitlist?", Mr. Dinne asked looking at Jack. "Nothing I would know... I don't ask a lot of questions on my targets... just the basics." Jack responded. "I doubt that!" Mr. Dinne almost yelled as he stepped closer to Jack and the door. "I wouldn't if I were you." Jack said looking at Mr. Dinne calmly. Suddenly the door opened and slammed shut. "OH MY GOD!" A female voice said in shock and surprise. Jack jumped out of his seat and turned around to look at where the voice came from. "Please don't!!" Mr. Dinne said taking another step towards Jack. "STOP!" Jack said raising his hands at both Mr. Dinne and the female. They both stopped what they were doing or going to do and looked at Jack. Jack sighed. "You." He said pointing at Mr. Dinne. Mr. Dinne looked at Jack with a begging look on his face. "I don't deal with beggars." Jack said with a growing frown on his face. Mr. Dinne immediately stopped trying to beg. "You." Jack indicated Mr. Dinne. "You sit down in the chair and you" Jack said looking at the female. "... you .... hmmm I can't let you leave so... sit down next to... no..." Jack didn't know what to do with the female. He sighed, "Just stay where you are and don't say a word." The female nodded looking at Jack with an odd look on her face. "Now on for you..." Jack said turning back to Mr. Dinne. Jack took out a thin blade that was perfect for precise stab kills. As Jack walked up to Mr. Dinne, Mr. Dinne paled. Just as Jack was about to stab Mr. Dinne the female begged, "PLEASE DON'T KILL HIM!" Jack turned around to look at her. "I told you to stay where you are and not say a word." Jack said angrily. He already had a long day. He didn't need an even longer one! Something about the look in her eyes though... No! He couldn't lose concentration! He turned back to Mr. Dinne. Just as he thrust his weapon forward to Mr. Dinne's neck, Jack was tackled from behind. Jack stumbled and fell over. He landed on his back with the female on top of him. He looked into the female's eyes in startelment. They both looked to where the blade had fallen. Knowing that if the other got the blade first they where dead, they lunged for the blade. As soon as Jack had the blade in his hand he went to stab the female. He couldn't. He knew it too. Why? Why do I have to break now? Why this day? He asked himself. I have killed many some of which were female. So why now can I not bring myself to kill this one? "Get off of me or I will strike." Jack said knowing that it was a bluff. The female glared at him and said, "No. Kill me! That is the only way that I will get off of you!" "No because if I kill you I will have to push your dead body off of me. That is not you getting yourself off of me, that is me getting you off of me." Jack said trying anything to buy him time. The female looked at him in confusion. "Does it matter how I get off of you?" She asked him. "No. Not really. I just don't want to spend the extra time and energy to get you off of me myself." Jack said looking at her with a look of tiredness. "Fine I will get off of you if you won't kill Mr. Dinne or myself. Ok?" She said noticing the look of tiredness in his eyes. He was trying really hard top cover up his tiredness. He was just so dang tired! He wanted to quit his job and go home! He had enough money to live fabulously for ever. So why not? He couldn’t because they would find him... Jack sighed. It was going to be a longer day then he had hoped. Quickly he twisted his body over to the left and pushed up and with a squeak of surprise the female tumbled over and off of him. Jack got up and looked at her as she tried to get up. "Don't." He said. She stopped and sighed. Jack slowly walked over to Mr. Dinne, who had watched all of this in silent shock, and said to him to quiet for the female to hear, "You are a lucky man Mr. Dinne. A very lucky man. I would move far away from here and possibly get a different name if I was you." Mr. Dinne looked at Jack with surprise and asked, "So I’m a free man?" Jack thought about that for a second before he replied, "Of a sort." and walked away. The female looked from Mr. Dinne to Jack with curiosity in her eyes. "Is he free?" She asked. Jack just nodded his head. "Thank you!" She said getting up. Jack looked at her quickly and said, "I didn't tell you that you could get up." She looked at him with a challenge in her eyes. "I never asked."

Jack walked out of Mr. Dinne's house with a feeling of calm and tranquility. "So. My name is Lisa." Lisa said as she walked side by side with Jack. "Nice to meet you Lisa. I'm Jack."
