Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Kyle rested back in the couch and leaned onto me. A low growl rumbled in Jaylin’s chest but he left it alone. I love Jaylin but he is just a tad over protecting.

Around about the time that Repicheep was riding on Eustace’s dragon back Jaylin had fallen asleep and was snoring. Loudly I might add. Kyle and I both turned around and glared at him. I looked back at Kyle and he looked from me to the popcorn bowl and back again. I put my hand over my mouth to keep from laughing. He had the same idea I did. I nodded my head slightly to agree to his mischievous little plan. He got up slowly and quietly so not to disturb him and he helped me do the same. We both grabbed either side of the monstrous popcorn bowl and counted to three quietly. When we reached three we dumped the popcorn all over Jaylin’s face. He jumped up with a start and sent stray popcorn pieces flying. I snickered and hid behind Kyle. Jaylin looked down and saw all the popcorn and said, “What the-“but he stopped mid sentence and narrowed his eyes at Kyle. I popped my head out from behind Kyle and then ducked my head right back. He didn’t look none too happy. I wondered to myself if his bipolar was acting up again. He would never tell me if it was. I would have to get a crow bar and pry it out of him. I peeked around Kyle’s legs this time. Jaylin growled and then mumbled something along the lines of I’m going to wash this crap out of my hair. He got up and headed for a short hall. I scrambled to my feet and walked over to him. Kyle sat back down and watched the movie.
“You want some help with that?” I asked him in a small voice and put on what I’d hoped was an innocent smile. He laughed once and bent a little closer to me. “I wouldn’t have a problem with that if you knew how to behave.” He told me teasingly and then he brushed his lips against mine. The motion sent tight spasms of desire along my body. He reached out to pull me to him but I pulled away and ran my hand down his chest, feeling every tight and hard muscle there. “There won’t be much showering getting done if you don’t stop. You know you’re teasing me.” He said in a low husky whisper.

He cupped the side of my face and let his hand slowly trace over my curves. His hand found the small of my back and he yanked me to him. My body molding to every contour of his.
It was so easy to get lost in him. His emerald green eyes had a way of drawing you in and holding you as a willing captive for as long as he wanted, his hair gave midnight a run for its money, and his smile was the sexiest thing I had ever seen in my entire life. Everything about him was just so enticing and addictive. I got a creepy flash back of twilight and shoved that thought out of my head as quickly as it had arrived. He was staring intently at me his eyes smoldering and as though he was literally undressing me with his eyes. My breath caught and he laughed softly. His hands slid lower from the small of my back and came to rest on my bottom. I gasped and he kissed me once on my shoulder and then my lips. He trailed his kisses down my neck again, finding my sweet spot on the edge of my collar bone. The spasm of lust rolled its way down my spine and a small moan escaped my lips. I felt him smile against my skin and he nibbled the area a while longer. I bit my lip and regretfully pulled away, only to hook my fingers in the waist band of his skinny jeans and walk backwards, pulling him with me. He brought his lips to mine again and murmured “Left.” against them. I turned us left and into an open door.

Jaylin shut it softly behind him, never letting his lips leave mine. He lifted me up effortlessly and I gasped. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pressed myself even tighter to him and wrapped my arms around his neck deepening the kiss. He pushed my back up against the wall and slid my shirt up and over my head and let it fall to the ground. He looked down and his eyes widened and his smile was like a miracle just happened in front of his eyes. He trailed kisses down my neck again but going lower this time. His lips stopped at the top of my cleavage and he set me on something that felt kind of like a dresser. I reached my hands under his shirt lifting it slowly, loving the feel of his muscles and strong body against my hands. He pressed his hips tighter to mine and I felt him long and thick and hard against me. He lifted his arms and let me remove his shirt.

It was my turn to trail kisses down his neck. I kissed all over his neck and shoulders, biting softly here and there and enjoying the way he moaned when I did it. I heard a creak of a door opening and I practically flew off of him. Someone yelled “Ahhhh!” and slammed the door back shut. In my attempt at flying off him I fell to the floor beside the dresser. I stood up swiftly, grabbing my shirt along the way. I clutched it to my chest and looked at Jaylin. His eyes were as big as saucers and he was searching around for his shirt. We both growled under our breaths. Well that is one sure-fire way to kill a mood. I gnashed my teeth and put my shirt back on. I poked my head out the door to see Kyle cursing and muttering to himself.

“Kyle?” I asked. He turned and looked at me with a somber expression. “I am so sorry, Alondra!” he yelled frantically. “It’s okay Kyle!” I laughed. A moment ago I was angry but thinking about the scars that scene would leave in his mind had me laughing in spite of everything. Jaylin walked out; a hand ruffling his hair. I saw Kyle blush when he looked at him. That struck me as odd. When I walked out he was sorrowful, but when Jaylin walked out, he blushed? I tilted my head to the side and narrowed my eyes. Was he- no, he couldn’t be. But that might explain why he never got a girlfriend. I debated this in my head and watched Jaylin and Kyle’s interaction absently.

“Are you-,” I blurted but then paused unsure of how to finish it. “Gay?” he completed for me. Now it was my turn to blush. “Yeah.”, I replied sheepishly. He chuckled but responded never the less with, “Yep. And I have had a crush on Jaylin for over a year now.” He paused to gauge my reaction. I glanced to Jaylin and he just shrugged his shoulders. “I have been knowing that he was gay. It doesn’t bother me that he likes me.” He said nonchalantly. I gave him an incredulous look. Was I the only one who didn’t know that one of my best friends was gay? In answer to my unspoken question both Jaylin and Kyle nodded their heads. But, if that’s the case, then why was Jaylin getting so jealous when Kyle leaned on me? “Then why were you getting jealous of him leaning on me?” I asked with a quizzical look on my face.

He walked a short distance to me and entwined our fingers. “Because,” he said, “You’re mine. I don’t like the idea of any guy touching you except me. That’s how come when you and Skylar started getting all lovey-dovey with each other I went and played puff the magic dragon.” I laughed slightly at his childish reference. Kyle’s phone went off went off playing “Choke” by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and we looked at him as he looked at the caller I.D. “Speak of the devil.” He muttered.

“Hello?” he answered. Kyle’s eyes widened and he said in a worried tone as tears filled his eyes, “We’ll be right there!” he slammed the phone shut and he took off and out to the car. We glanced anxiously at each other and ran after him. When we got out there, he already had the car cranked and was just waiting on us. His hands gripped the steering wheel so tight his knuckles were white. I grimaced and hoped in the back seat ad Jaylin hoped in the front seat. Before we even closed the doors Kyle started speeding away at 90 miles per hour. We slammed our doors shut.

Breathing heavily I screamed, “What the hell is going on Kyle?” he wasn’t answering me at all. His grip just got tighter on the steering wheel and tears were coming down his cheeks. I reached an arm out and put it on his shoulder. “Kyle! Tell me what’s happening!” I begged. He didn’t take his eyes off the road but he answered, “Skylar killed himself.” That shook my nerves to the core and I was frozen where I was. Kyle floored the gas more and I felt the sting of tears in my eyes.
