Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Have you ever had the feeling that someone was watching you? Well I’m getting that feeling right now. It seems like every time I turn my back there’s eye’s on me at all times. And I mean at all times. I’m Miley by the way. Miley Destiny Bailey and yes I no who Miley Cyrus is . My parents call me ‘Blue Jeans’. (Well my dad does, my mom doesn’t really call me anything except ‘hey you’ or ‘girl’.) Don’t ask why. I have blond hair and gray-blue eyes. I have no friends if you must know. I’m 16 years old. If I could leave this earth I would but for some odd reason God won’t let me. Anyways, I was at home when I had this “feeling” I was laying on my bed watching my favorite show “Good Luck Charlie” when I heard this horrible screeching noise like someone was scraping their nails across my two-story window. It was the kind of noise that gave me goose bumps. I got up slowly and looked out my window. I couldn’t believe what I saw: there on the roof was a little girl looking back at me. Probably no older than 4 or 5 years old. How she got up there I don’t know. After the shock wore off I yanked my window open.
“Dude! what in the world are you doing?! How did you get up here?!” I screamed. Totally freaking out.
“Why are you screaming?” she asked calmly.
“Come in here you could get hurt. What are you crazy?” I exclaimed. Her pale blue eyes turned pitch black.
“Don’t you ever, ever in your short life Miley Destiny Bailey call me crazy!” she said in a very infuriated voice. I stood there stund. With that, she turned around and launched herself off of my roof.
The blood drained from my face.
“No!” I screamed. Of course I had to think fast, so I ran down the stairs and threw open the front door. There was nothing there. Nothing but a few parked cars and houses. Am I the crazy one? I turned around and went to the back of the house. That’s when I heard a noise. It sounded like a angelic laugh.
My heart stopped. I turned around and ran into the house. Triple bolted the doors and dashed upstairs, taking three steps at a time.
When I got to my room I stayed there until my parents got home later that night. With the covers over my head and my heart pounding, unable to get that laugh out of my mind.....
