Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Its amazing how twisted a story can get when passed down the grape vine. What started as a simple story of stupidity, hurt and bad choices got turned into a horrible tale of death, murder, disease and artificial insemination. I'm tired of people whispering and pointing at me because of some ridiculous spin on the truth, so I'm telling the real story.

My father once cheated on my mother with an exotic dancer because she was suffocating him, not because she had 13 toes. He told her after a week because he couldn't take the guilt, not because the plants in the garden told him to. She went out and cheated on him as revenge, he knew nothing about it until she told him, and he did not ok it. They never talked things out, or dealt with their problems and that's why my sister and I came into being.

You see, the woman my father cheated with walked away without another glance once their affair was over, while my mother laid broken.
One day, the anger within her surfaced and in a fit of rage she walked out of the house in the middle of the night and made her way to the city. She went to a bar, got drunk and ended up in bed with a complete stranger. A complete stranger who's name she did not know; a complete stranger she has not seen since.

Even more emotionally destroyed, she went home and after a long cleansing shower, she confessed to her husband what she had done. Furious, he in turn went out to the city and laid with a woman of questionable integrity and age. He was not kidnapped and tied to a bed as a pleasure slave to unattractive women.

After he went home, he and my mother finally talked things out and tried their hardest to make their marriage work. Everything was going well until 2 months later when the second woman my father had cheated with called him to say she was pregnant and that he was the father. She had lost her home and family because of the pregnancy and promiscuity, so my father brought her into our home.

My mother didn't like the idea of having this woman in her home, or the fact that she was giving my father a child at all, but there was nothing she could do. The woman refused to abort the child or give it away and my father refused to let his child live without knowing him or his family. My mother finally made the right choice by just accepting it.

My older siblings understood what was happening to an extent, and did their best to make things easier for everyone in the house. Outside of the house was another matter, but I digress...

Everything was all fine and dandy for another two months, but that's when the morning sickness began. My mother and my father's mistress could not get to the bathrooms fast enough to relieve their stomaches, but everyone thought it was for different reasons. They knew fathers mistress, as they had started calling her, was pregnant, but they thought my mother simply had a stomach bug... Until one morning when my mother looked in the mirror before her shower and notice a small bump protruding her lower abdomen.

She over reacted thinking she was injured and had my father rush her to the hospital only to find out she was pregnant with me...
