Dan, Dan, Stop! Your hurting me. Your hurting me!
Sammie obtains several minor cuts to her face and flesh-cuts to her hands while protecting herself from Dan’s attacks because of an illusion. Did you see the cat, that bewitched thing, attack me, Sammie. Dan asked, as, the police and mental-health caseworker was in the progress of walking him away.
Dan, I saw nothing, There was no cat, when I came into the yard. You just started attacking me, Sammie replied. You’re lying! he yelled, in an outraged. There was a Cat!!!! I’m not crazy!
Sammie, watched in complete sadness as her childhood friend was taking away. She could not understand how Dan’s obsession with a cat caused his mental break-down. More important, should could not understand what caused it in the first place. As the police cars, EMT and their colorful lights faded into the far distance, from the residential neighborhood, Sammie, felt a soft rub against her foot.
Where did you come from? Surprised that it was the cat rubbing against her feet.
"Meooww”, it said.
I guess I would come out, too, to see what all the noise was about , Smammie said while smiling at the cat. “Purr’s,” it said. Sammie, picked up the cat and places it in her arms with love. Let’s head home!

“Through Their Eyes, A cat’s Revenge,” is a short-story about childhood best friends Dan and Sammie. The two attend the same college and are nearly inseparable. But, one has a dark secret and an evil deed comes back to seek justice from among the two.
