I watched her take off. The love of my life. I grabbed her parents truck keys and followed her. She was going to the forest. My head lights were off so she couldn't see me. She slowed down and turned onto a hidden path. I waited a few minutes and did the same thing. It was breathtaking. I saw A wall of ivy move. I turned off the truck and walked up to the ivy. I pushed it back and there was a door. I tried the handle. It turned. Lucky break for me. I opened it and locked it behind me. I turned around. A door at the other end stood open. I walked quickly down the hallway. I stepped through the open door. There right in front of me stood the oldest house I have ever seen. A light flicker through the second story window. I opened the front door. I shut it quietly behind me. I heard footsteps above my head. I hid in what I thought was a closet. I watched through a crack in the door. Jessica came into this old style kitchen. She opened up one of the many cupboards. She pulled out a bag and shut it again. I watched her walk back up the stairs. A few seconds later I heard a door close. I left through the front door shutting it softly behind me. I started for the truck.

My head is pounding as I type the last few sentences. Ugh, another school essay done. I send it to my teacher's inbox and shut my laptop quietly. I strech and look at my wall clock. Midnight. Time for bed. I take a quick shower and climb into my comfy bed, and I'm out like a light.

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
