“I… Can I see the king?” She asked him, her eyes remaining on the table. Spec tore his attention away from the window, raising an eyebrow at her. “I… I w-want to meet with him.”
Spec scoffed at her, turning away from her. Paris stared at him, her hands laying on her lap. She tilted her head, biting her lips.
“P-Please… l-let me meet with him.”
Spec rose from his chair, headed towards the back door. He grabbed the doorknob, stopping before he could turn it. He glanced at Paris for a moment that forever seemed to draw out until he let out a deep sigh. “Let’s go.” He barked at her.
Paris nodded, rising from her hair and going through the backdoor with him. They left the area, en route to the castle. En route to meet with the king.
“Your majesty, I have news to report,” Edwin, the one in charge of the Intelligence Division, told the king, kneeling in front of him in the throne room. “Spec has completed his mission. I sent some of the knights to check out the damage and we found the robber dead. He’s been identified as Robert Hinkton, a citizen of the Commonfolk District.”
“Good,” Jayden remarked. “Notify me of Spec’s arrival.”
“Your majesty, he’s here. However… he brought another person with him. A Paris River, daughter of the River Family.
Jayden raised both eyebrows. “He… He brought someone with him? Bring them here now!”

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
