“I think it’s time for you to go to bed now,” he said. He lifted my body and set me in the middle of his bed. I heard a knock at the door and then Megan was sitting beside me.
“Thank you for coming for me,” she said.
“I told you I always would,” I said putting my hand on her cheek.
“I called dad,” she said.
“Why?” I asked sweetly. I thought you were dying.
“He’s on his way now,” she said.
“I have to go then,” I said. I sat up and hopped off the bed.
“Go where?”Damon asked.
“Away from here. He is going to find out that I have the power and he is going to take me away,” I said.
“When will you be back?” Megan asked.
“Your coming with me,” I said.
“I am?” she asked confused.
“Yes. If I leave without you he might become suspicious of me and hunt me down. If we leave together, he still won’t know who has the gift,” I said.
“Makes sense,” Damon said.
“Do you mind staying here?” I asked Damon.
“Not as long as you come back for me,” he said.
“Thanks Damon,” I said. “Come on Megan. We have to go.”
“I’ll grab your duffel bag,” she said running out the room. She came back a minute later.
“There is a car pulling up in the driveway,” she said.
“Go,” Damon said. I kissed him and grabbed Megan.
“Love you,” I whispered and we were flying at the speed of light.
“Where are we going?” Megan asked.
“Back to Romania,” I said.
“Why?” she said.
“Trust me,” I said. We were back at the courtyard.”Alexander!!!”
“You rang,” he said from behind me. I turned to face him.
“I need your help,” I said.
“You can’t expect me to help you after I tried to kidnap your kid sister,” he said grinning.
“This is important,” I said.
“Fine but this is my final favor Drucilla,” he said.
“Damon would appreciate it,” I said smiling. He grumbled something under his breath. He walked up to me and touched my face.
“You are a cute little one,” he said. “Damon has good taste.”
“Thanks for helping me,” I said pulling my face from his touch.
“Whatever,” he said. He turned away from me and Megan followed me as I followed him.
“This is wrong,” Megan said.
“Just hold on to me,” I whispered.
“I’m scared Drucilla,” Megan whispered.
“So am I Megan. So am I” I said. Looking down we followed Alexander. Neither one of us was prepared for what we found after we were lead in to a giant house. Megan screamed and hid behind me. I fell to my knees. Damon’s bloody body was on the floor at the feet of my father.
“No,” I whimpered.

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
