He nodded. “That’s the past. But I’m glad you told me. I kind of figured, since my scar hurt.”
She gave him a confused look. “What scar?”
He parted his hair slightly. A lightning scar. “He gave you that?”
He nodded. “Whenever I was around him, it always hurt.”
“Oh.”
“So, are we even?” he extended his arm.
“Sure.” they shook hands.
“But,” he had a stern look. “One bad thing you do to Albus, Lily or James..”
“I’m dead I know.”
He laughed. “Come on.”
Evangeline went back into the house, as she smiled. Finally forgiven.
Epilogue: 2 years later
“Mom, mom, mom! Oh my goodness, you cannot believe what I just saw!” Lily cried out, as she came out of the train, after she had put in her luggage.
“What?” Ginny asked, as she fixed her already messed up braids.
“Evangeline and James were snogging in the corridor!” she gasped. “It was terrible! Kissy stuff, honestly.”
Albus laughed. “You’ll be thinking differently that’s for sure.”
Lily spun around on her heel. “No I will not. You must be insane. All you people must be insane.” She flung her hands up in the air, as she stomped her foot.
Evangeline and James came out of the train, looking sheepish.
“Lily I’m so sorry.” Evangeline said.
Lily sighed. “It’s alright,” she dismissed airily. “I’m a grown woman, and I don’t do gross things like that. In the meantime, please do not snog,” she said snog rather loudly, “in front of me.”
“Understood.”
The train hooted.
“Come on you lot, shoo!” Harry said. “You do not want to miss the train.”
“Or else you’ll be taking the enchanted car all the way to Hogwarts.” a familiar chimed came in.
It was Ron and Hermione Weasley.
“Hi Uncle Ron!” Lily chirped, as she chatted with Rose, one of her many cousins. Hugo, Roses’s older brother said hi to Albus, and raised an eyebrow at James and Evangeline’s entwined hands. He made a gagging face, and he and Albus laughed.
“Hey man.” Harry said seeing his old friends.
“Go on Rose!” Hermione chided giving her a playful push.
“Okay, okay,” Rose said annoyed, as she and Lily walked into the train.
“Bye!” they both shouted.
James and Evangeline walked back, as Albus caught up with them.
“Bye mum, bye dad!”
“Bye, see you over Winter break alright?”
The train hooted one last time, as they waved their children goodbye.
Inside the compartment, Albus, Hugo, Evangeline, James, Rose and Lily sat.
“Exciting to go back isn’t it?” Evangeline said, as she held hands with James.
“I can’t wait!” Rose squealed. “I wonder if I’ll be in Gryffindor?”
“Sure you will.”
“Slytherin isn’t that bad either. Just because You-Know-Who was in it, doesn’t mean everyones bad! I mean, I’m not bad.” Evangeline reminded them.
They all laughed. “You get a little overprotective about Slytherin.” Albus said, through laughs.
She rolled her eyes smiling, happy at last.

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
