He laughed and looked me in my eyes. “I think you’re right, we need to work on making our children don’t we?” he said grinning.
I rolled over toward him. “Are you serious? Oh Crispin! I love you so much and you are so going to get lucky more than we you’d expect.” I said climbing until I laid on his chest.
Later upon returning we cheerfully played around. Grinning and playfully attacking each other we missed the warnings. We stubbled into the clearing laughing. I was the first to notice. I froze pain screaming through my heart and a howl ripped out of my throat. Crispian truned and shuddered. I ran forward, past the dead bodies of my pack, my family and went into the den. I ran into the corner, the alphas corner. Laura lay her throat ripped out, blood dripping down her now dead body. Her eyes lay open, glazed over but the remains of pain and horror still there. I ran past here to the cubs hide out to find Bones half dead. "Bones!" i screamed. I rushed forward and he whimpered. "Bones, Bones. What happened? Bones!" i scrambled to his side, slipping on his blood.
"Kristen. We were attacked. By...by vampires. I got the pups to the safe place please help them, please save them." Bones strength then left. The blood continued to flow out his stomach where his ribs glistened in the mininal light. I watched his chest rise once them fall one last time. I howled in pain and ran to the hidey hole hole for the pups.
As i got closer i heard the tiny yowls of fright still coming out of their throats. With renoued speed i burst forward running head first into the tiny hole. With an 'umf' i looked around. The pups were inside jumping up on the walls below my head trying to get to someone they know. I purred slightly and pulled my head out. Shifting i reached in and one-by-one took them out. Shifting again i grabbed one by the scruff and the other four followed.
walked out to Crispin who was sulking silently waiting for me to come back out. His head lifted at the sounds the pups make and he grinned slightly. He grabbed another pup and we walked into the woods to bring them away from this place.
