Walking the Yellow Brick Road

Hey Chickadees. Say you all know I have a story called The Witches Destiny. I am uploading TOMORROW. Sorry I haven't uploaded lately. It was Thanksgiving week and you know how family comes in so yeah NO TIM

*****************************^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^************************************************

"DOROTHY ANTONIA STEVENS, GET YOUR BEHIND DOWN HERE", my mother screamed up the stairs.

What did I do now? Every time I sit peacefully in my bed room I get in trouble. I walked slowly leisurely strolling down the stairs. I look in the living room to see our two guests. The tall one was skin and muscle. HE LOOKED LIKE HE PRACTICALLY LIVED IN A GYM. He had a stern look at his face, but in his eyes I could see his laughter as he strained to hold it in. At this I smirked a little.

Then I looked at the smaller one and my smirk grew wider. H was almost as tall as his dad; maybe 5'9 or 6 ft tall. He was lean and looked very strong. He had that I'm a cocky bad boy look in his eyes. I think I'll have to teach him a lesson. Oh and he's got paint ball splatters all over him. My smirk grew wider and wider until I was flat out grinning.

I looked at my moms face and tried to hide my laughter as I looked over her stone face. She looked mad but in her eyes you could tell she was amused.

"What is this?” she asked.

"It's a man and a boy,” I said rolling my eyes, "and that’s a chair and that’s a table and I'm a girl."

"You know that's not what I mean, Dorothy Ann", she said giving me a pointed look, "What have I told you about living left over forgotten prank around the house?"

I rolled my eyes and said what she always says to me.

"It's dangerous and could hurt someone very badly and then we can get sued and lose all our money."

"Exactly. Now what do you have to say to this traumatized boy", she asked.

The boy smirked, waiting for an apology.

'I'm sorry you were idiotic enough to fall in to one of my pranks. Now your new name is Paintboy". I turned to my mom, "Now I really need to go because I have things to do and-"

Suddenly there was a loud boom that shook the house.

"DOROTHY ANN!!!!!!” my brother Josh shouted.

I looked around the living room quickly and grabbed my jacket from off the chair. I sprinted to the front door,

"GOTTA GO!!!" I screamed and ran out of the door. While running I caught a glimpse of my step-brother with his eyebrows singed of and his hair sticking straight in the air.
