The Night of Disaster
I was in my room doing my homework like any other night when I heard the clattering downstairs. I raced down to see what all the commotion was about. That's when I see my mom on the floor, glass covered all over her leg. I quickly dialed 911. "Hello?"
"Yes. Excuse me, but my mom is on the floor covered in glass. What should I do?"
"Where do you live?"
"I live on 389 Wickum Road."
"Okay. Just apply pressure to the wounds until we get there. Now stay calm." She kept telling me to calm down and that the ambulance was on it's way.
This was definitely not an ordinary day for myself, Lena Barefield.
Dear Diary,
Things have been really crazy today. Mom had to go to the hospital because of a really bad injury. The doctor said she should be fine. She's still in the hospital, and right now so am I. I'm scared. I don't know where I'll go if she doesn't recover.
She says stop worrying about her and focus on continuing my life. I just can't do that.
It seems silly, but she's all the family I have left. Everyone died on my dad's private jet, that my family took to go to New York. Yet, they never made it.

I wiped the tears away as I noticed my mom had fallen asleep. I kissed her on the cheek, then ran to the car to get home.
When I got home, I went to bed. I didn't need to be stressed before the starting of the second semester. I wonder if anybody will be joining our school.
I concentrated on reading, then fell asleep and dreamt about a creature. A creature that I didn't know of. I only didn't know of it because it supposively is a demonic creature. A creature I couldn't believe I was dreaming about. An undead creature.
I woke up in the middle of the night screaming. How could I? "Uh. What do...How could I dream that? My books is about ghosts not...Go back to sleep. You're fine."
