raditing off of him in waves. I couldn't focus on anything. The only thing I heard was his slow breating in my ear. The only thing I smelt was him. He had an extremely musky smell that sent my hormones into over drive.
"Look." He repeated himself, and I snapped out of my trance. What the hell is going on? My bestfriend is hurt and out there somewhere and I'm thinking about some boy that could be a threat to me.

I did as I was told and looked in the direction I was facing. I strained my eyes and saw shadows approaching and noticed that the one in the lead was holding something bride and groom style that was limp. As the shadows got closer I noted that they were all men around the same size as Golden Boy, and that the limp something was Emily. My knees buckled beneath me and the only thing keeping my upright was Golden Boy.
"Emily." I breathed. She was right there being carried by Golden Boy's crew. When the men were directly in front of me Golden Boy released me and started to walk in the direction I was headed before I ran into him. I looked at the guy holding Emily and mouthed a Thank You. The man just smiled and started walking after Golden Boy. When we caught up to Golden boy he grabbed my arm and took off in full sprint pulling me along with him. Five minutes of running and he was literally dragging me. He stopped, but the others kept going, even the one with Emily.
"Why'd we stop?" I panted with the little breath I had left in me.
"Because you weren't going to make it much longer. Here get on my back." I just sat there and looked at him like he was crazy.
"That would slow us down even more." I stated. I was only 102 pounnds, but you try running a long distnace with a 102 pound person on your back. You're not gonna get far.
"No it won't now get on before you make me do something I regret you stubborn child." The anger in his voice made me wince, ad his words hurt, but I found myself getting on his back any way. He had a power to his voice that no one could ignore or defy.
"Hold on." he demanded. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. As soon as he felt me holding on, he ran. I felt like I was a Jockey. My seeing everything a powerful horse sees, feeling that power. I know that's weird, but it is how I felt when he ran. I found my self starting to doze off. I felt safe, and I was relaxing as much as a person could while holding on for dear life.

***Golden Boys POV***
I felt the girl relax against my back. Fially. I have to give her credit, for such a little girl, she had an iron grip on me. It was starting to get uncomfortable. I could feel her breath even out and I knew she had fallen asleep. I stopped and twisted her so that I was now holding her like Liam was holding her friend. I noticed that even covered in dirt and with leaves in her hair, the girl was beautiful. No one in their right mind could say that she wasn't. With her waist long arburn hair, and smokey grey eyes, she could be a model. As I ran, I found myself thinking about the girl. NO

She is nothing more than a diversion. A very interesting diversion, but nothing more. I was going to have to make sure that this girl remained just a diversion. A girl like that might tempt me to get involved. A few more minutes and we would be at the cars. One of my crew had been hunting when he saw the girls running. He called and let us know what he saw. Normally we would stay out of other people's business, but Liam said that the girls where in trouble and looked to be running for dear life. I saw the cars come into view. They were all on waiting for us.
"About time. We have to go," said Jonny. I didn't say anything as I set the girl in the back seat of one of our black SUVs. i climbed in and sat beside her. She groaned and her head rolled on my shoulder. I sucked in a sharp breath. God she was beautiful.
"Dude, she's your mate." Said Jonny. He knew by the way I was reacting towards her.
"Shut up and drive." I was not mated to a human. No way in hell. Humans are weak and pitiful little creatures.

***Mona's POV***

I was jolted away as a stab of fear ripped through my body.
"Emily" I shouted.
"Shhh it's okay. Emily's okay. She's in the car right in front of us." I turned my head to find the sorce of the words. It all came back to me in a flash. The woods, Emily, the snare, and golden boy.
"Ugh where are we?" I groaned. I had a major headache and really had to pee.
"Only a few more minutes and we will be at the house." replied Golden Boy. He was looking at me as if I might rip his head off at any second.
"Who's house. And stop looking at me like that."
"My house." WAit what? He can't be more than 19 and he has his own house?
"You have our own house? How old are you?"
"I'm 21 and the house was my parents. They left it to me when they died, and the guys live with me."
"I'm so sorry! Really. My parents died too, or at least thats what I like to think. I mean you don't really think someone would leave their only kid on some weird people's door steps do you?" Golden Boy had his head cocked to the side and was staring at me like I came from a different planet. "I'm sorry, I'm rambling aren't I?"
"Yeah you are." And that was all he said. Not 'gee I'm sorry and don't worry about it' just 'yeah you are'. I decided to ignore the rude boy and turned my attention to the two guys up front.
