with a flick I throw my head back screaming as I come.

ā€œEmery,ā€ he roars, slamming into my pussy one last time as his own orgasm rips through him.

After what feels like an eternity as we both catch our breath, Samuel collapses onto the bed next to me. I fall onto my stomach turning my head to face him. Instead of meeting my gaze heā€™s staring up at the ceiling.

ā€œAll this time youā€™ve been alive, and I didnā€™t know. Fuck. Tell me something, were you the one controlling the shipments of the guns to the cargo ship?ā€ I should have known heā€™d figure that little detail out.

ā€œDemi and I handled getting the shipments prepped but I was never at the cargo ship,ā€ I murmur.

ā€œFuckinā€™ hell. Iā€™ve been working with my own damn wife for years and didnā€™t even know it. You have got to be fuckinā€™ kidding me,ā€ Samuel growls, rubbing a hand over his face.

Tilting his head in my direction he narrows his eyes. ā€œYouā€™re never leaving me again you got that,ā€ he orders.

ā€œDidnā€™t want to do it the first time.ā€

ā€œWell weā€™re not pulling any more Pirates of the Caribbean bullshit, like those two characters marry each other then donā€™t fuckinā€™ see each other for years.ā€ I canā€™t help but giggle.

ā€œYou watched the Pirates of the Caribbean movies?ā€ I ask, astonished that heā€™d watched them all.

ā€œUnfortunately,ā€ he mutters.

ā€œWhy?ā€

ā€œYou fuckinā€™ know why.ā€

ā€œNo, I donā€™t.ā€ I did know but I wanted to hear him say it.

ā€œBecause you told me the first one was your favorite movie. It was also the first movie we watched together,ā€ he grumbles.

Smiling I lean into him and capture his mouth in a searing kiss while I climb on top of him. We have a lot of time to make up for and what better way to reconnect than right here, right now.

Chapter Eleven

Scorch

Itā€™s been two weeks since that first night with her. Emery got under my skin, scratch that. Sheā€™s always been under my skin and Iā€™ve done my best to ignore the feeling. Too bad the moment I saw her in that towel, I couldnā€™t help myself.

I had to reclaim what rightfully belonged to me.

Fucked up I know but damn if Iā€™ll be sorry for taking back what has been mine for more than ten years. I didnā€™t intend to continue fuckinā€™ her all night but after Emery admitted to not being with anyone else, my chest tightened with a pain I hadnā€™t felt in years. Not since the day I thought Iā€™d buried her.

When weā€™d left the motel room, I followed her home. I refused to let her out of my sight. What man in his right mind would?

Getting to the clubhouse I was nervous because inside I didnā€™t know what to expect upon seeing my son for the first time. Sure, Iā€™d have liked to have done this at the house instead but with Emeryā€™s stunt that didnā€™t happen.

Stepping into the clubhouse Iā€™d barely made it through the door when I stop and stare at a mini version of myself.

The moment heā€™d seen me Stone ran across the room screaming ā€˜Dadā€™ and jumped into my arms. Iā€™d lifted him into mine and held him to me. Meeting Emeryā€™s gaze, Iā€™d seen the tears rolling down her cheeks and couldnā€™t help myself but pull her to me as well.

I didnā€™t care if all my brothers were watching quietly. They all knew who she was to me. Iā€™d made no secret of that. All that mattered was for once in my life everything was whole. I had my brothers, my wife, and my kid.

In the heat of the moment Iā€™d made the announcement that Emery was my olā€™ lady. I hadnā€™t planned on it, but it felt right. Still does.

Everyday Emery and Stone came with me to the clubhouse to hang out while I handled business. Itā€™s not always about riding my bike, drinkinā€™ beer, and fuckinā€™ bitches. No, I have to make sure all our businesses are running smoothly, because if theyā€™re not that means somethingā€™s wrong.

Today is no different.

ā€œScorch, you able to talk for a minute?ā€ Bane asks, glancing from me to where Emery is sitting on the couch engrossed in her book. Itā€™s what sheā€™s done every day when sheā€™s not doing something with Stone.

Feeling eyes on her, Emery glances up. ā€œNeed me to step out of the room?ā€ she asks, closing her book.

ā€œSorry Em, need to talk to Prez about some shit,ā€ Bane says, giving her a smile. Itā€™s strange seeing him interact with her yet he gives Demi the cold shoulder. Doesnā€™t help they got off on the wrong foot when my sister in-law drew her Ruger SR45 on him.

ā€œNo problem, I need to go see what Stone is up to anyway. I learned a long time ago to never leave him alone with my sister for long. She taught him how to disable a gun for cleaning when he was five,ā€ she states as she gets up off the couch. A pang goes through my chest.

Iā€™m doing my best to not think about missing out on the last ten years. But whenever itā€™s brought up, I canā€™t help the anger that simmers deep inside me. I know it wasnā€™t Emeryā€™s fault. Her and I had a long conversation the day I met Stone. Iā€™d been curious as to how he knew me. Sheā€™d told me how many fights her and her father got into when she wanted to contact me.

Doesnā€™t mean I think she couldnā€™t have tried harder. Then again, her father is a powerful man.

Nodding at her as she leaves the room, neither Bane nor I speak until the door is closed.

ā€œSo, you and the misses seem to be doing good,ā€ he smirks.

ā€œDonā€™t start. What did you come in here for?ā€

ā€œJust got a call from Ravage up at the Baltimore charter,ā€ Bane states as he takes a seat in the chair across from my desk.

ā€œAbout what?ā€ I ask, furrowing my brow.

ā€œSeems they got some
