my throat. I took every drop, then released him, pushing him gently away to sprawl sated across the bed.

He didn’t say a word, but his eyes shone as he directed his gaze at me. Being watched whispered excitement through me as I rode Michael, controlling his depth and angle to press against every part of me.

My thoughts began to scatter until I could only move, driving myself up and down as Michael’s cock filled me and stretched me again and again and again. I didn’t slow down. I didn’t need to. Michael rose to meet me, thrusting his cock harder and faster.

“Yes,” he whispered; the sound harsh against Gabe’s slowing breathing. “Fuck, yes.”

I dropped my hand between my legs, rolling my clit under my finger as Michael moved in and out of me, and heat rose inside me, burning me, turning me molten.

The tightness returned in my muscles, coiling each one until they almost ached. I screamed for release and then it hit. I held my breath, riding it out, not wanting the slightest movement to disturb it.

Beneath me, Michael called my name as he thrust his hips one last time, pushing as far into me as he could, his balls pressed tight to my skin. His fingertips pushed into my hips, his grip tight enough to bruise as he held me still, each gasping breath he gave pumping another spurt of cum deep inside me.

I flopped forward, my head landing on Gabe’s thigh. “Holy Hell,” I murmured around my pounding heart. “We make quite the team.”

Michael chuckled. “I thought you said you were tired.”

“Yep,” I agreed as I drew lazy circles on Gabe’s leg with the tip of my finger, enjoying the movement of his muscle as he flinched away from my teasing touch. “So just imagine what I could do if I was wide awake.”

"I have searched every text." Cecilio shook his head sadly. "Mary helped me. We were up all night. We can find nothing to explain what went wrong, nor can we find an option for trying something new. I am sorry." He took my hand. "I know you are not evil. I still will always choose to keep my affairs separate from angels, but you are trying to do the right thing. Good luck with your problems and with your daughter."

We'd woken to Lucifer awake and aware, and much better, but he wasn't up to par, especially without his magic. He still had shadows under his eyes and walked slower than normal. "I feel like years were stolen from me."

He wasn't happy with Cecilio. The White Witch had made it seem like there was little danger to Lucifer, and though he hadn't been permanently damaged, he was injured. He didn't appreciate being kicked while he was down.

Cecilio had prepared breakfast for us and apologized many times, but Luc was stuck in his resentment. He always had been slow to forgive. After breakfast, we'd decided to set out for home and regroup. Try to find another path to finding Lucifer's magic.

All of our paths were growing shorter and shorter. We needed a new one.

As we turned away and Mary said one last goodbye. Cecilio made a sound that was somewhere between a whine and squeal. We all whirled around to look at him.

His eyes rolled back in his head and he swayed on his feet. Michael and Mary were closest to him and put their hands out to steady the witch. His hunter green aura pulsed and threads of black trickled through it. Those lines of darkness were not his own. Someone was connected to him, but who?

I continued studying him, trying to figure out who could get to him here, under all these wards and spells. It had taken Mary hours and hours to do it and she'd done it before.

He breathed heavily and turned his head until he looked directly at me. "Queen. Mother. Help me. My soul breaks free. That which is dark cannot be in Purity. The flow will contain but woe to the world if my soul reaches the place where they wait." He sucked in a breath and his entire body quaked.

"Cecilio!" Mary yelled. She glanced at me. "Has he been possessed?" she asked.

"No." I stepped forward and peered into him, past his aura, delving as deeply as I could. "He's Prophesying." He was still himself, but someone had their aura weaved into his. They controlled his mouth, even as Cecilio fought them off.

"Let them speak, White Witch. We need to hear them." I used magic to push my words into his heart, so that hopefully, deep inside where Cecilio fought, he'd relax.

It worked a bit. He stopped shaking, at least.

"The soul must not reach Gehenna," he whispered. "Help me." His voice was so faint I had to lean close to hear him, my ear next to his mouth. "Help me, and I will help you. My Queen..." He screamed once, then went limp.

Michael caught him before the tall wizard hit the ground, but Cecilio woke and righted himself, shaking off Michael and pushing Mary's hand off of his arm. "Why are you holding me, angel?" He looked around in confusion. We must've been a sight, gathered around him with concerned looks on our faces. He had no idea what happened.

I held my hand out. He looked suspicious of us all, and I needed him to know we hadn't done anything to hurt him. "You delivered a warning, a prophecy," I said. His eyes widened as I repeated his words back to him. "Some of it makes sense to me and some doesn't. Do you understand any of it?"

Cecilio blinked and looked down, twisting his neck as he thought about the words. He pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes. "Purity is likely Elysium?" he asked. "Is there a dark or cursed soul in Elysium?" As it happened, there was.

"That's not possible," Mary said. "Darkness cannot abide in the light." She was right. Except I'd tried
