“Point taken. Don’t be disappointed if you don’t catch a fish the first time around.”
“Oh, you already doubt my ability? I bet I’ll not only catch a fish, but I’ll catch at least two.”
“And what do you get if you win?”
She grinned at him with a mischievous gleam in her dark brown eyes. “Oh, I’ll think of something.” She sashayed past him, brushing her shoulders against his as she walked by.
Zora’s hips swayed, reawakening Heath’s cock. Did she just flirt with him? How the hell was he going to get through the afternoon without touching her?
Once they were situated on the rock he sat on for fishing, he showed her how to put the bait on the hook. He was surprised she didn’t flinch when he pulled out the worm. She even offered to do it herself with his guidance.
Finally, she stood and he moved behind her. Gently he guided her arms as she cast the line. Not quite a few minutes later, there was a tug on her line. Though he attempted to help her, Zora seemed quite adept at reeling in the catch by herself: a nice-sized trout.
“Well, what do you know?” She winked at him. As she expertly freed the fish from the hook and dropped it in the bucket along with what he’d already caught, it occurred to him this wasn’t her first time fishing.
His suspicions were confirmed when she retrieved another worm and affixed it to the hook as if she’d done it hundreds of times before. She threw the line back toward the lake.
“Something you’re not telling me, Zora?”
She grinned, revealing that small dimple once again. “I have no idea what you’re talking about,” she spoke with mock innocence.
“I thought you didn’t know how to fish.”
“Did I say that?”
“You asked me to show you how to fish.”
“No, actually, I asked you to show me how you fish. I wanted to see your technique. I never said I didn’t know how to fish. You made that assumption, so now when I catch two more fish, I’ll win the bet.”
Heath let out a loud belly laugh. “You little minx! I think since you’ve got me at a bit of a disadvantage, I reserve the right to even the playing field.”
“Oh? And how do you propose to do that?”
He moved behind her again and slid his arms around her waist. “With a little distraction, of course.” He pulled her against him until the imprint of his erection was nestled comfortably against her rear.
She tensed. “Wh-what are you doing?”
Wrapping his arms tightly around her waist, he lowered his head and nipped the tip of her ear. “Like I said, leveling the playing field.”
“I thought you guys were going to give me time?” she asked breathlessly, making no move to pull away from his hold.
“All you have to do is say no.” Heath nuzzled the side of her neck with his lips, reveling in the silky smoothness of her lush brown skin. Her scent was intoxicating, and he didn’t know if he’d be able to stop with just a few stolen kisses.
“It. Doesn’t. Matter. I can do this with the dis-distraction.”
She kept her gaze on the lake, even though her words came out in a breathy moan.
“Oh yeah? Even if I do this?” Heath slid his hands along the curve of her waist and moved them just below the full globes of her breast. He nipped her ear lobe between his teeth, biting down just enough to sting, but not to cause real pain.
Another groan eased from her lips. He noticed how her hands tightened around the fishing rod until her knuckles were discolored.
She moved her bottom against his aching erection, turning the tables on him. “Lady, if you keep that up, all bets will be off.”
“You started it.”
“Very true, and if you keep rubbing that ass on my dick I’m going to finish it.” Without warning, he rubbed his thumbs across the nipples that poked through her bra and Tshirt.
“Maybe I don’t want to stop,” she replied seductively.
The culmination of cold showers, hours of masturbation and general frustration warred within him. Heath could no longer fight the temptation of doing what he’d fantasized about
