he drives us back to his place.

“Noel and Berkeley got us a gift. Technically it’s for you but also for me. I’m not sure.” I shake my head and giggle.

“What is it?” He glances at me from the corner of his eye.

“You’ll have to wait ’til we get home.” I squeeze his hand.

As soon as we arrive at his place, Camden asks to see the gift. His eyes widen, and a loud cackle bursts out of him when he sees the boxer briefs.

“This is hilarious.” He holds the boxers out in front of him as he inspects it. “Well, this cock is yours,” he winks.

“One day, they called me after I had heard a rooster crowing from my bathroom, and I made the joke that I moved to Spain for the cocks, which, of course, held the double meaning. It’s been a joke ever since, so this is perfect.”

Camden loops his arm around my waist and pulls me to him, my swollen belly limiting how close we get. “The only cock that’s yours is mine. Or am I going to have to make you forget all others before me like I did earlier today?” He arches a brow.

A shiver moves through me, and I swing my arms around his neck. “I’m not thinking about any other but yours,” I smirk. “Besides, it’s not like there were a ton before you,” I add on a whisper.

Camden groans and squeezes my behind, pulling me as close to him as I can get, but there’s no mistaking the hardness pressed against me. “You’re the only one I want, too.”

“I’m going to assume you mean pussy and not cock because this would be really awkward if so.” I laugh at my own joke, and Camden growls, slapping my butt.

“Kiwi… You, only you.” His lips sneak into the crook of my neck, kissing and sucking until I’m melted goo in his hands.

“Glad we’re on the same page,” I tease, tugging the back of his hair until he’s looking at me. I get on my toes and whisper so close to his lips. “Are you gonna kiss me or what?”

Everyone who came before him, every heartache, every kiss, every touch melts away as Camden’s lips fuse with mine, and I get swept into a fairytale that is guaranteed to have a happy ending.

chapter 25

Camden

Sitting next to Allyson on the flight to Madrid reminds me of the first flight we took together to New York after spending the night together. She was a nervous wreck, babbling and giving me shit. What a difference six months and a pregnancy make. Now, her head is resting on my shoulder as she sleeps, her hand protectively over her stomach.

I love how she’s always aware of the baby, protecting it in some way, and already being the best mom possible. I could watch her like this for hours, and it would never be enough. This woman has stolen my heart, and I sure as hell don’t want it back.

I lift the window shade and peek out into the sea of clouds. We’re almost to Madrid, and I can’t wait to sleep for the next fourteen hours. I’ve never been one to sleep on a flight, let alone one this long. Closing the shade again, so the light doesn’t wake Allyson, I lean my head back on the seat. Seven hours on an airplane will drive you stir-crazy after a while. To make matters worse, none of the movies on the entertainment television sound interesting, and I’ve already seen the TV shows.

I press the screen on the seat in front of me and look at the games. I touch the Solitaire icon and watch as the cards load before I start playing. Halfway through game three, Allyson shifts and lifts her head. I look over at her with a smile.

“Hi.” Her voice is raspy.

“Hey, Kiwi. How’d you sleep?”

“Good. Not the best position for my neck, though.” She smirks and sits up, stretching her arms out as a wide yawn splits her mouth open. She covers it quickly with wide eyes.

I chuckle and wrap my arm around her shoulder the best way I can and pull her to me, kissing her full lips. Then, I move my hand to her neck and start massaging. Allyson moans near my ear with closed eyes. I watch her face twist and relax as I work out a knot.

“That feels so good,” she whispers.

I wish we were in the privacy of her apartment. My boxer briefs feel tight around my crotch—not the red pair with Ally’s face on it that her friends gave her. I chuckle to myself.

“What’s funny?” She looks up at me through her lashes, and she’s a real beauty—all soft and sweet and innocent with a twist of mischief and trouble that I love bringing out in her.

“Just thinking about those boxers.”

Allyson giggles, hiding her face against my shoulder. “They’re so funny.”

“Definitely a unique gift.”

“I can’t wait to get home, shower, and sleep. I swear my feet are so swollen I have cankles.”

I bring my hand around from her neck to her face, splaying my fingers across her cheek as I hold her. “You’ll get to sleep on your comfy bed soon.” I kiss her forehead and then bend to kiss her stomach.

“How long do we have?” Her voice is soft, and she looks at me with what could only be love. I recognize it in her eyes the same way I feel it in mine.

“Forty minutes, according to the map.”

“I can’t wait.” She rests her head on my shoulder again, her hands holding mine as we wait to land in Madrid. Having her in my arms, even in an uncomfortable airplane seat, is heaven. I’ll take crowded seats, snoring strangers, and swollen feet any day if it means having Ally in my arms.

The customs officer begins talking in Spanish instead of stamping my passport and letting me continue on my merry way.

“Sorry, but do you speak
