All the remaining pieces, he sold. Someone else could invest in the beads and string to finish them. He feared the price would be low because it was unfinished, but they still averaged out to 1 silver each. The result was another 4 gold and 91 silver in his bag.
For the rings he made four Intellect and four Constitution. They had the exact stats of the necklaces. That said, he equipped all eight of those and they fit without a problem. The last four he turned into Spirit ones and kept them in his bag.

The master bid him farewell and gave him a letter of introduction for the next master before he headed for the Weaponmaster.
Atlas had to ask a guard but eventually found the Weaponmaster. A man stood in a training ring as multiple opponents ran at him. He spun to the side and knocked a wooden staff out of the way. A quick side-step allowed him to counter with a punch, and then he followed with a leap over his opponent. An elbow to the back sent the attacker flying in the opposite direction before he fell to the ground.
The Weaponmaster didn’t even get a chance for a breath before another person charged him with a wooden sword. He spun and deflected the weapon with his small wooden dagger and thrust both hands into his attacker’s chest. The solid thump of the blow propelled the man backward as he struggled to keep his feet. The Weaponmaster stood, and the challengers saluted him as the gathered spectators clapped.
“That was fantastic work,” Atlas commented as he approached.
“Thank you, Reborn. Can I help you with something?”
“Actually, I wanted to train skills.”
A brief nod was all he gave before a menu popped up.
Weaponmaster Jordan Cooper
Ability
Description
Fallback
Requirements: Level 3
Cost: 8 Silver
A retreating jump. Only useable following a Dodge. Increases the chance you can Flee from a battle.
Disrupt
Requirements: Level 8
Cost: 15 Silver
An ability that lets you counter low-level spells. Uses your innate mana to disrupt the magic. Counts as a standard combat Counter.
Pursuit
Requirements: Level 13
Cost: 20 Silver
A combo attack that follows a normal attack addition. It allows you to chain two attack additions together. The second addition must have fewer hits than the first.
All three abilities joined his set of skills. The Fallback ability was one he neglected from the very beginning. It would be a good way to get away in an emergency. Disrupt could be a lifesaver in the future if it could stop a spell from hitting him. Pursuit was an ability he truly wished for. Being able to chain additions together during attacks allowed him more freedom. If he could start off with a three-hit attack and then immediately go to a two-hit, it would increase his damage between forced stops.
A trip to the bank let him drop another 10 gold for safekeeping. With 24 gold in the bank, he felt pretty secure. He still had a little over 2 gold on him. His last task left him standing on the master druid’s porch and entering his house.
“Master Greenfoot?”
The older druid entered the main room from a door on the side of the house.
“Atlas, what can I do for you?”
“I’d like to train my new skills,” He said with a reassuring smile.
The master stopped the questioning and just gestured, bringing up the menu.
Two skill rank upgrades were available and one new skill. He bought all three for 6 silver.

One other skill remained, but it had a yellow icon next to it that listed it as a quest reward. His attention shifted back to the master.
“I’ve made it to level fifteen. Is there a druid quest I can get at that level?”
The druid smiled as he responded, “Ah, the progress of youth. It’s finally time to commune with the animal spirits. Your level fifteen quest allows you to choose your first animal form… well, normally. For you, it’ll actually be your second form, but not the point.”
“Choose the form? So I just have to run around hunting for what I want?”
“No. Choose between three options and I’ll grant you the quest for your choice.”
“So what are the options?”
“Eager I see. Good, you’ll need that passion. You’re first choice is that of a giant ape. The second choice is for a nightstalker cat. While the final is a cheetah.”
“So, I can either have a super strong climbing form, a sneaky form, or one that moves very fast?”
“That’s the gist of it. Each has their own unique abilities, like your dire bear form, but you guessed their primary function.”
Atlas immediately ruled out the ape. While being very strong and able to climb might prove useful, he already had the dire bear, and it was also very tough and strong. The other two options proved a little tougher. His decision bounced back and forth as he mulled it over. On one hand, being able to travel quickly and possibly escape dangerous situations would be great. As a healer, though, he needed to remain nearby to help people.
