Running
I had a chance,
But I hesitated, Now I’ve lost you,
I’m running,
I’m always running,
Running from what I’ve done,
Running from who I’ve hurt.
I’m swimming through regret,
Pushing through anger.
Make it stop.
She came along,
I asked her out,
But I was in too deep.
It all happened so fast,
I couldn’t get out,
I crashed and burned,
Losing her too,
All I could think about was you.
And I’m running,
Running from what I’ve done,
Running from who I’ve hurt.
You were still there,
Always there,
I fell harder,
Wanted another chance.
But you’re gone,
Gone with him.
Now I see you,
We don’t talk,
I hate it.
Running,
I’m always running,
Don’t know where I’m going,
Don’t like where I’ve been,
I’ll just keep running,
Until I can run back to you.
Please Don’t
Please don’t do this to me,
I pushed too hard,
And you pushed me away.
What choice did you have?
I waited to long,
Now your gone.
All I can do is wait,
Wait and hope,
Hope that this can be fixed.
It should be you and me,
Ready for anything,
Taking on everything.
Instead all I can do is be patient,
Be patient and trust,
Trust that we can work this out.
I want to be yours,
Maybe you could be mine,
You and me.
Instead all I can do is sit,
Sit and pray,
Pray that we an be together.
Please don’t do this to me,
I’ll sit and wait patiently,
Hoping, trusting, and praying,
That this will get better.
God’s Got a Plan
God’s got a plan,
His hand is in this.
So why do I keep trying?
Why don’t I trust him?
He works in wonderful ways.
So why wont I let Him?
He knows better than me,
Why wont I listen to Him?
I keep doing the same thing,
Then when it fails,
I turn elsewhere for help.
He’s got a plan,
Let Him work.
He knows best,
Let Him teach.
He works in wonderful ways,
Let Him.
God’s got a plan,
His hand is in this.
So stop trying,
Just fall back and trust Him.
Gone
Gone.
Theyre all gone.
I hesitated and she left.
On to the next.
But I wasn’t ready,
She left too.
Back to square one,
But she wouldn’t take me back.
On to the next.
We hardly knew each other,
I never even had a chance.
On to the next.
She had been there the whole time,
Why didn’t I see her sooner?
She left too…
Where do I go?
What do I do?
