Vultures Screech.

“So simple to take a life”, as one strange old women told thee.
She thought it was like cutting lilacs out of her flowerbed.
She slowly but surely pressed and pushed him into the trunk of a taxi, with no effort.
He was just a sliver in her life, and she wanted him out.

She watched him spiral out of control that one lonely appalling night.
Seam by seam she unpieced him. Was his ongoing of complaining what drove her mad?
How did they get so dreadfully unhinged?

Not even a blue print could tell or explain how easy it was to pluck him from civilization
Not even a mysterious green mist on a Sunday morning, nor a vulture’s screech.
She thought not even a despicable hint of him was left behind,
But, lying on the bed side table, a blood splattered postcard.
