Opened Cage
Butterflies danced in old dusty places
New feelings filled empty spaces.
Awake and alive deep inside
Broke the ropes that had me tied.
All to fast and all too soon
Dancing

around a setting moon
Hope filled my soul at last

All is not gone and I am not lost

Thy Free Spirit
I will it to wash over me
just like the waves at sea
entangling my beauty
and everything that be
Peace come like the ocean
Grace like an evening breeze
and hope like a hunger.
Let life thirst for me
Fill me up and let me drowned
in a crystal waterfall
And let the pounding of my heart be the only sound.
Pass through my soul with valiance
lift me up into the sky.
We'll dance around the thunder
Victory our cry.
If ever you should leave me
I would merely fade to dust.
Tears would be my melody
and earthly things my lust.


A Small Reminder
I may be sad about today
But I am hopeful for tomorrow.
My heart may have been broken
But I continue to follow.
Everyday is a reminder that there is something more
Than all I have left behind
And all I have settled for.

Whispers soft come and go
Hope fills up my eyes and lets me soar
Only to come crashing down
I listen but there is no sound

A silent crush is all I feel
The hope and need is all too real
So I’ll life it up and give it away

Care Free

Someday I’m gonna find that road leading straight to you
Even if it takes forever, I know he’ll see me through.
I’m packing my bags and I am traveling light.
I’ve left it all behind me, and I know I’ll be alright.


THE CALL

Something inside we can’t ever tame.
It’s a feeling, a touch, or maybe a thought.
A cry from inside at the price that were bought.
It’s hearts on fire, pounding in peace.
The life that were given washed up in grace.

It’s what I need and what I feel.
Everything that could ever be real
Dancing across the warmth of a soul
Breaking free and asking for more

It’s a voice inside screaming my name
breaking, falling and hurting and pain.
It’s the road we run, the road we choose
I am a runner in a race that I will never lose.

It’s the world stopping at my very feet
The place where sin and salvation meet.
It’s holding on to more than what we see
My heart is set on eternity.
