One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isnā€™t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didnā€™t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesnā€™t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isnā€™t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

One Shot
By: Victoria Blackwood

One Shot, thatā€™s all it took. One shot, he was gone.

Iā€™d never hear him laugh, Iā€™d never see him smile.

The boy who loved the sun, while I worshiped the moon.

Now I hate them both, itā€™s not even noon.

The clock stands ticking in the hospital room.

Taking away our time, the love that canā€™t be mine.

I see the line go straight on the heart monitor, I call

his name,

His brain canā€™t register.

I want to scream, I want to shout,

Because of that One Shot, my time has run out

Right Here
By: Victoria Blackwood

I looked up from my window and saw him standing there. I ran up to him, unwilling to believe he was really here.

ā€œI thought youā€™d never come backā€ I whispered, gripping onto his leather jacket, the smell of the leather laced with wood smoke filled my nose.

ā€œIā€™m Right Here.ā€ He answered, running his fingers through my hair. His voice was warm and comforting, like a blanket on a cold day.

ā€œIā€™m Right Here to, I was waiting for you.ā€ He smiled at me and hugged me,

ā€œI only came back for you,ā€

Not Forever
By: Victoria Blackwood

He told me it couldnā€™t last forever, but I didnā€™t listen.

He told me it couldnā€™t be forever, but I didnā€™t care.

Love is Not Forever, neither was he.

Love is Not Forever, he tried to warn me.

I didnā€™t think heā€™d go,

In this horrid world only he thought, I was beautiful.

He was the boy with eyes that sparkled like the sun.

He was able to make me different from being ā€˜no one.ā€™

Thereā€™s nothing like what we had,

Nor will there ever be

Love is Not Forever, for you or me.
