One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

Haiku

Alone

I am all alone here.

I am constantly in fear

of disappearing.

The two skies

Which sky is wiser?

The night has a million eyes,

the day only one.

Hidden feelings

Sometimes I wonder,

must I lock my feelings up?

I want them set free.

Rhyming poems

The disguise

See with your soul instead of your eyes.

look for what's hidden underneath the disguise.

Do not misplace your trust.

You must find what is just.

Do not believe in lies,

or darkness will rise.

Dark feelings begin to bloom,

Signaling the impending doom.

You hear screams and cries

as the world dies.

You must stay faithful to your duty.

You must not succumb to evil beauty.

My Heart

It was my heart you took.

No matter how much I scream, you will never look.

It was my heart you broke.

My feelings I must cloak.

You never noticed me.

To my heart: you hold the key.

Oh, but you do not know it!

You hold the heart of this dammned poet!

Yes, I know you will never love me.

I know my soul will never be free.

Insanity

I am like you.

You are like me.

We are the same, why can't you see?

We'll be together eternally.

Our bond my dear, is insanity!

Chains

I am bound by these chains.

I think I may be going insane.

My lips, they are sewn shut.

Bitter hate, how deeply you cut.

If I gave you my full trust,

you would surely be filled with disgust.

Trapped forever in these chains,

life, oh how slowly, so slowly it drains.

Lock and Key

My secrets are under lock and key.

I'm afraid that I'll never be free.

I must play these sick, cruel games.

My soul will forever remain in chains.

When people ask "whats the matter?"

I can not tell, or my life would shatter.

In my lies, I must not stumble,

or I know my world would surely crumble.

Betrayed

I'm the one in agonizing pain.

To everyone else, it is simply a game.

Insults and glares deeply cut.

They think it's funny, its anything but.

I am the one who was betrayed.

It cuts like a blade

right through my heart.

Slowly tearing my soul apart.

I will remain

I will remain,

after the tears have dried,

after the world has died.

I will remain,

after I've lost the ability to rebel,

after I've become nothing more than a shell.

I will remain,

after my heart has been damaged beyond repair,

after I've lost the ability to care.

I will remain,

after everything is consumed by fear,

after the future is painfully clear.

I will remain.

It seems that I have shattered.

It seems that nothing has mattered.

Yet I still remain.

War on F.E.A.R

They laugh at the sound of your screams.

With blood the shadow's staph darkly gleams.

Free yourself from the clutches of F.E.A.R.

Rebel against the lies that you hear.

They will fight to keep control.

They will fight to shackle your soul.

Rise up with the angels that fell.

Keep yourself from becoming a shell.

You are nobody's fool.

As the blood starts to pool

beneath this treason,

you stand and fight with the legion.

Mama

Mama, you used to be a warm and loving soul.

Now all I see is vanity and hate.

Where your heart was, there is now a hole.

I took your love for granted, and now it's too late.

Mama, why don't you love me?

You say you do, but then you take it back.

Mama, why do you hate me?

Don't deny it, you've told me, it's a fact.

Mama, why do you play these mind games?

Why do you put me through this hell?

Do you like the sight of me in agonizing pain?

I'm done playing, I no longer care. Can't you tell?

Mama, I know who you truly are.

You said when someone shows you their true self, believe it.

The real image of you has left scars

on my mind, but I hide it.

Mama, I pity you,

but I hide it well.

I hope I never become like you,

because you've become nothing more than a shell.

Mama, we share the same wretched fate.

This seems to be a never ending plight.

This twisted relationship of my love, and your hate

is like a dance. A gruesomely beautiful sight.
