One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

Her Time

There once was a little girl,
Her name was Elli,
The age of only six.

She lived in a normal town,
Normal house,
Went to a normal school,
But didnt live a normal life.

Her mother, Anne.
Her father, Chris.
Lived along with little Elli.

Both were different,
From ever other person.
Both had problems,
But not normal problems.

Her mother, the Acoholic.
Her father, the Tempermental.
Always blaming little Elli.

Till one day it had gone to far,
Both mother and father,
Came home,
Seeing their daughter all alone.

Her mother, drank her lifes content.
Her father, spat at her.
Yet little Elli stayed calm.

Even if she was use to this,
She could not prepare for what is next.

Little Elli stood tall,
Taking her fathers words
Little Elli tried her hardest,
Taking her mothers beatings.

But for Little Elli.
She did not know how far it could go.
One day had came.

Her mother, drunk.
Her father, Pissed.
for little Elli will be missed.

Her mother was equipted.
Her father was red.
"oh please oh please" she begged.

Red Rose,
Red Rose,
For little Elli.
For that is the color.
For what is left.

Poor little Elli whom stood tall and proud.
Was the result of to parents gone mad.
For she is an Angel, watchig over us all.
And protecting those whom might fall.

Jane Doe

I once knew this girl,
Her name was Jane Doe.
We were great friends,
Until she had to go.

She lived in a little house,
With her mother Juliet.
She Always wore a blouse.
To cover what fate she has met.
ーーーーー
Me and Jane had alot of fun, until on day she had to leave early and sadly never returned. Later i had found out my friend had left that day and followed her way to death. She was found in the girls bathroom, at some skool. She had a razor with her that day and had simple slit both her wrist letting them bleed.
And for the reason, no one knew but me.
ーーーーーーー
I was only only to know,
And for she was she a pro.
Hiddening her feeling,
Continueing her healing.

She was beaten and briused,
While her mother left and cruised.
Her father named Joe,
Began to make her a 'hoe'.
ーーーーーー
Her father beat her and raped her, for his own greedy pleasure of course. He didnt care about her, niether did her mother. They ignored her, except for the cruel attention her father gave her. I dont blame her, she most likely thought death was her only escape. And so she choose her ending path.
ーーーーーーー
Now as i finish my friend story, i sit here and feel my eyes well. As they did that day she left our cruel world forever. But sometimes i feel her, standing over me,, helping me. And most likely others,, helping them have the life she never did.
That is why i smile everyday, to live a beautiful life for her and me.. But mostly for her.

I miss you so much

Alyssa's Story

My name is Ashley McDanes and this is the story of my best friend, Alyssa Mari Fortho.

Alyssa and I met when we were 5 in preschool. We were both the kind of kids that always yelled out answers, talked, and laughed alot. My most favorite memory with Alyssa was one particular rainy day. We couldn't play outside because of the mud, but somehow, we were able to sneak out. We played all day in the rain while the others listened to the daily story, played house, of were learning their ABC's. Still we played outside the whole day, no one even noticed. The day soon came to an end, our parents came to pick us up and that was that. We were both sick the very next day and we played together that day to. Smiling and laughing, that was a wonderful two-day play date. Then as we got older and more mature our same personality never changed.

We continued spending our time together, told each other all our secrets. Then when we were in the forth grade one day she stopped talking, wouldn't even pay attention to anyone, including myself. "Alyssa, something wrong?" I had asked her later that day, she instantly hugged me and bursted into tears, eyes already red from crying only a few seconds. I held her until she had finished her crying.
"Alyssa, tell me." After she explained what was wrong I was in total shock, unable to comprehend what she had just told me, that's when it hit me. Like a giant snow ball in the back of ur head would.
"So, ur older sister raped u??" she nodded, I was still in somewhat of a shock.
"you need to tell the police. Right away!"
"I can't."
"Cant, can't cuz can't never tried." she shook her head at my over used quote.
"I don't want her to be in jail."
"Would u rather be raped again!?"
"No." she had gone into great, disgusting detail. It seemed horrible to even think her very own blood would do that.
"Then you have to tell them."
"Okay."

After that conversation, months had pasted and she still never went to the police. I've tried confronting her, but she never listened to my reasons. Almost every month she would cry in my arms in the bathroom, whenever we were late, I blamed myself with some stupid lie. The teachers never suspected a single thing. Years passed and she continually got raped by her older sister, I told her I was going to tell the police but she threatened our friendship. I wanted to stay her friend, but I also hated to see her cry.

After a month, it got worse. She was crying almost everyday. So, I was finally fed up with all this, I walked straight into the police station and requested to speak with someone in charge of sexual harassment and rape. I was 13 then and wanted to stop the rape that has happened in the past 3 years. I explained it to the officer as if it was my own story. Not leaving out a single detail that Alyssa had told me, I even cried. Not to make it seem real, but from remembering everything she goes through.
"And who is doing this to you?"
"Tricia Fortho, my best friends older sister."
"How long has this been going on?"
"Three years, since I was ten in March." she wrote some stuff down and Asked me to leave after giving her my address. No one, except myself, Alyssa, Tricia, The officer and who ever she told, knew about this.

After 2 months of fighting Tricia said she never raped me (which was true), I spoke to the judge of this case. Mr. Lowther, was his name. I swore to tell the truth in his office and nothing but the truth.
"Did Ms. Fortho rape you?"
"No" was my responce, because that was the truth. He sighed and asked another question.
"Did u make this story up?" I gave the same responce.
"No" and explained that it was my best friend that Tricia was raping. Tricia was raping her own sister, they had talked to Alyssa and she said everything I said was true. Even though we never spoke to each other afterwards I knew, she was happier. It was the very next year, on Alyssa's 14th birthday, her sister was released for a 'unserious' offend. That was also the day Tricia went home, and raped her sister for the last time.

Later that day, Alyssa was found, laying on her bed, barely breathing and bleeding everywhere. The person that found her, was me. Once I saw her a screamed and ran to her side. I was studying to be a doctor so I checked her pulse like any other doctor would, thankfully, her heart was still pumping. Once her parents came, her mother bursted into tears, and her father on the phone with 911. I stayed by her side the whole time she was in the ambulance and the whole time she was in the hospital. Until, the doctors pulled me away, soaked in her blood from the multiple slashes she had done to herself, I sat patiently in the waiting room, ignoring all the discussed looks I got.

Waiting and waiting, until they finally came out covered in blood. Her parents were still grieving as the doctor tried to speak about Alyssa.
"forget them, how is Alyssa??" the doctor explained it all to me. I was crying by the time he finished. Three hours after I had found her laying in her room, bleeding to death. She had died, my best friend had died. I ran, past all the doctors to her room, stopping infront of her lifeless body and cried. I cried my eyes out, until I couldn't no more. After I was finished, I was token home. My eyes feeling as if the were going to fall right outta my head. I attended Alyssa's funeral, and went to her grave every year on both her's and my birthdays. No one knows why she killed herself.

After a few years, continually visiting her, I became a doctor. For her sake, and for everyone to come. Not forgetting the sessions and the steps to finally get the image of her dead body out of my mind. Yet it still stays there, implanted on my eye lids never forgetting the last smile I saw compared to the horrifying look of her death.

My name is Ashley McDanes and this is the story of my best friend, Alyssa Mari Fortho.
