Black Infinity

Cosmic light
Inter-weaved within gateways of time
A beautiful sight
To dazzle the eyes
Wonder as stars take their form
And galaxies spin
To house worlds newly born
Stardust explosions
Milky way dreams, a river of stars
Sparkle through the vastness of space
We see from afar
From our home on this blue and green planet
A star's past is what we see when we look into the night sky
Of when it shone brightly
But that is all a lie
For how the star is now, we don't know
Formations of gas clouds in this blackness
And many other wondrous views of creation
Beauty to behold, so much unexplored to witness
Universal frontier
It stretches on for what seems like infinity
We want to see, we want to know
To discover our origins of divinity

Cosmic beauty
That exists throughout many eternities
Blows the mind
For what we find
The possibilities for life like us
On worlds like our own

We as a small speck in the universe
Finite
Within something so infinite
We seek out
And we want to know
Our place in this vast scale of creation.
