One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

Meaning at all

As kids we played pretend
Wherever we went
Our minds were open then
To all the things we've been
Who we are
Is not who we were
Our spirits are old
Sagging tree limbs
Fruit hanging on the ends
Its our own creation
Festering mutation
Of what we began
Before us, where we stand
Just waiting to fall off
And land on something soft
To sink into the ground
avoiding sight and sound
Making more room
For another little bloom
We divide our essence
As we learn our lessons
We clean up the mess
And search for happiness
We will tangle our webs
Around what each other said
And we will fight
Just to survive
We will mold together
And wonder if there ever
Was meaning at all
For a soul in a doll

I Want to Sleep

I'm dissapearing
I'm fading away
And reappearing
through an open door
And all I'm seeing
is the sun straight on
It doesn't hurt my eyes
I'm not looking through them now

I'm just a child
running through
The darkened alleyways
of my mind
And I notice
all the ghosts
taunting me, haunting me
so close
I can feel it
coming through my skin
Blood like silver
tempest poision
So tell me tell me tell me
why I can hear it beating
Hooves are on the pavement
and I am running out of time
Then I see it
as I start to climb
Hover over
the most perfect crime
I want to
sleep

I'm calibrating
losses from shame
Deliberating
my final move
I'm celebrating
before the battle
My last chance to try
I'm not looking to win now

Its like a fire
burning through the ashes
creating new born life
and I can't take
all the blame
contracting, distracting
my aim

There's a labrynth
made of sticks and stones
As I'm walking
start to break my bones
So tell me tell me tell me
why I am waking up to this
Everything is spinning
and I am falling out of line
All I wanted
was to just confine
All the torture
that I could define
I want to
sleep
