WIND

The Wind

It is blowing hard left and right

And howling with sound not light

Who can deny effects of the wind?

Its movement like that of a king

 

 

Majestically moving as it waves

Yes, it is a source of relief

From days of heat and sweat

It might signify the coming of rain

 

 

Yet it can be deadly and fatal

Bringing with it lots of pain

Oh, you wind blowing tonight!

I pray to God above with might

That you be a soothing one

Not one with anger upon us

 

 

HAUNTED EYES

They say the eyes are the window

 

For you to see into the soul

 

That's right for her eyes are so

 

They are soulful, bottomless eyes

 

 

 

Yes, truly that they are

 

They tell stories that lie within her

 

For there are numerous between

 

Her heart and soul

 

 

 

For her soul is full of pain

 

Her heart laden with sadness

 

But her eyes, so tearless

 

With so many pains

 

 

LIFE

You think you are all alone in this world?

Look around you and see people

Whose loneliness is like a vast ocean.

You think you are poor?

There're people who don't have a penny to call their own

But still smile despite this

Life can be so daunting and frustrating at times

But remember this

Life is a zoo in a jungle

You have to fight your way out

Because it is survival of the fittest

You have to be brave

Yeah, you have if not

You won't be able to face the most difficult challenges.

But then, don't lose two things people seem to lose

When trying to make life better for themselves:

Their HEARTS, FAITH and FAMILIES!

They are pretty important because you will

Remember and Fear God in whatever you do.

That is unwavering Faith in God

And then you will have:

Compassion, Love and Respect,

Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty,

For your family, friends and fellow people.

Remember: NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT

Like MJ (RIP) once said:

HEAL THE WORLD AND MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE.

A MOTHER'S LOVE

 

 

A mother's love knows no bound

Her care is boundless

Her devotion limitless

Oh, what an endless love!

 

 

When she doesnt eat, she is ok

But when I do not, she's agitated

When I cry endlessly, she gets no sleep

But when I get no sleep, she is not ok

Oh, what an endless love!

 

She goes hungry trying to feed me

She goes slepless trying to stay with me

During agonising hours of sickness and pain

She is also in pain with me

Oh, what an endless love!

 

A child's pain is the mother's pain

Oh, what an endless love!

An everlasting love

An ever present love

An endless love

A FATHER'S LOVE

He makes sure there is food on the table

With enough to feed his family

Even when he knows it is not enough

He still tries his best

 

He is a strong pillar of support

A rope to hold on tight

In times of need

A strong support, that he is

A father's love is indeed strong!
