Pennington was a small little lad.
He was gay, joyous, and glad.
He was loved by all and hated by few.
He spoke no lies but only truths.
He danced, he pranced along to the rhythm of the earth.
He was an exceptionally well behaved young boy since birth.
Such an adorable little lad who loved his father Mr. May.
Until a frightful accident took him away.
Such a horrid day it was.
He soon turned into very dark young boy.
Depression replaced joy.
He did not bathe, He was a complete mess.
Sadness replaced happiness.
He would not speak, He would not sleep.
He felt so bad and sad yet he would not weep.
He became angry and sour.
Soon enough he lost all his power.
He forgot that he still had a brother.
He behaved as if he had no mother.
He was blinded by his loss that he could not see,
that he still had a caring family.
He wept, He cursed, He pushed them away.
He fell even deeper into isolation every day.
He became very disagreeable.
What he became is unmentionable.
His mother died of a broken heart what a shame.
Little Pennningtons attitude was to blame.
The moral of the short story is to not remorse about what has passed away, but to rejoice of what you have today.
