Looking back on our path I do not see a marker post highlighting every year.
The memories that mark time in my thoughts are the births of our eight children.
The fencing that secures the posts are you and I walking this journey together,
side by side, arm in arm - I am comforted in this thought,
I hope you are too.

I remember vividly our passion for each other and how we waited until marriage to consummate our love. You will always belong to me and I to you. We only share each other in our intimacy and I cherish every minute together.

Something was missing our first years as you yearned for motherhood.
How precious our first born was and I am honored to be able to give that to you and
share the responsibilities of parenthood with you.

The next post anchored our love-life line and secured it forever in time.
It was the birth of our second child at twenty-six weeks gestation. She was a micro-premi and led us through what some said was a nightmare. We traveled this road together, an enlightened spiritual journey that only a few get to experience. We miss her.

We faced together with much fear and trepidation the birth of our third child. We welcomed her home healthy and well. Three girls in a row and you fulfilled a wish that you could give the infant your breast and you were successful.

The boys finally arrived, sixteen months apart they act as if they are twins! The first time we experienced two babies at once in diapers. Not for long thankfully! Oh how they have grown and matured. I can barely wait to see them as men.

Then another girl how precious and for a moment our shared enthusiasm and experience finally shown a light of confidence upon being successful parents. She would not be our last child but be sandwiched between another “set” of baby boys how frisky they are, like little puppies playing in a pen. Every one of them is a miracle and blessing.

I am truly blessed. You have proven to be a wonderful mother. What a marvelous lover and friend.
I love you dearly my wife.

I look forward to the future with wonder and amazement as we walk hand in hand, together!
