One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT MAGIG

You don't have to be a wizard
To have magic inside of you.
Some wizards
Don't even HAVE the magic
I'm talking about.
If they don't believe,
They'll never have the magic
Of imagination.

WINTERTIME

(A 2 stanzaed haiku)

Soft snow on the ground
Dead brown leaves and leafless trees
Wintertime is here.

Fall has dissapeared
I feel it will not reurn
Winter has conquered.

THE FACTORY

I stare up at the building,
The pollution making me cough.
This sad, empty place fills me
With despair, misery, and loss.
I wish they'd close this place down
And reuse it for something worth being.
My face turnes into a downright frown
As I remember global heating.
Animals are becoming extinct,
And this factory's doing nothing about it,
All it's doing is making the air stink,
And dirtying the land around it.
It's time, I think, to have a say
In how the Earth is dying,
To choose what's good, and what will pay
For the damage it's applying.
With determined thoughts I walk away
Back to my little house
I just want the world to be happy and gay
But over the world I see right now, the sky is full of gray.

MAGIC MIRROR

Mirror Mirror,
On the wall,
Whose the fairest of them all?
And here's another question for you,
Do you think it matters? Well, I don't think so, too.
Everyone always says that beauty is only skin deep,
Friendship, love, and happiness is what we ought to keep.

LEMONS AND LEMONADE

"Even if it feels impossible," Daddy always tells me,
"Try to make lemonade out of lemnons."
That was the day when I scraped my knee.
Today while making fresh lemonade,
I accidentally got some in my eye and
YOW! It hurt, bad!
But now I don't know what to do,
'Cause I was already making lemonade,
And we're out of lemons.

THE UPSIDE DOWN WOMAN

There once lived an upside down woman
Who slept in her upside down bed
She fed upside down treats to her upside down dog
And for fun stood on her upside down head.
Every day she would walk to the upside down park,
She'd climb trees and sit in their upside down bark.
The sky was below her and the grass above,
She had an upside down meaning of friendship and love.
One day while bathing in her upside down bath
She couldn't breath and, rght before she died, Realized the truth with a flash
If you have an upside down version of things,
Life will be bad.

WE ARE DIFFERENT, AND WE ARE PROUD.

Black or white,
Poor or rich,
Young or old,
Male, female, or bysexual,
Big or small,
We are all different,
And we are proud of that.
