Cravings

I woke up today craving words
dipped in chocolate, edible words.
So decadent and luscious I am careful
so as not to overdose.

Then beholding silver-coated
words strung together
to decorate my wrist as a bracelet.
Slamming together they discharge
riotous musical notes.

Will you unfurl your net in the ocean?
Bring me beautifully colored words
of azure, cerulean and midnight.

Let me cast them out, beguiling my eyes
as they jut down the rocks forming
waterfalls and rivers.
The rivers complete their majestic cycle
and return to the sea.

Then bring baskets overflowing with words soaked in spices from far away when
inhaled
I will float to distant lands filled with
beauty and mystery.
