One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

Book online «Original Poems by Sonia Ferguson (read 50 shades of grey .TXT) 📖». Author Sonia Ferguson

Flower.

Flower in the day, spirit in the night.

Oh how beautiful it sways with no little bit of fright.

When everyone sits and stares it stands proud and free.

Beautiful unique flower,

For you and for me...

Hell in My Head.

I am beginning to wonder if my head is a safe place to be,

because the real hell is inside my head is inside my head.

All fear, all torture, all hate,

It's inside my head!

What you see is a lonely girl sitting by the corner of a building.

But whats really there is a girl who has torture hate and fear

ripping her apart and killing her from the inside.

The longer she holds on, the more they hurt her,

The closer she is to a painful death.

I am that girl, the one who is slowly dying.

My strength can't hold me much longer.

I don't know how much longer I can control it all.

In the beginning I thought the way I die

Will be because of old age or sickness,

But now, I think it may be because of my self.

Pain and agony both take control of me.

Someday i'll be gone and that day might be soon,

But until then,

I guess I'm stuck with the hell inside my head...

If we Are All Equal.

If we are all equal, why is she alone, and he is not?

If we are all equal, why can’t she play, and he can?

If we are all equal, why is she the weird on no one likes and he is the one everyone loves?

If we are all equal, why is she considered ugly and he is considered the best looking?

If we are all equal, why is she weeping and he is ignoring her?

If we are all equal, why is she sleeping on a cold park bench and he is sleeping in a warm comfortable bed?

It guess that there is no such thing as equality in this world.

If we are all equal, why is he in rags and she has too many clothes to count?

If we are all equal, why is he stupid and she is the smartest kid anyone can think of?

If we are all equal, why is he weeping and she is ignoring him?

If we are all equal, why is he bleeding and she is living?

If we are all equal, why is he begging for food on the streets and she is throwing away her left-overs, while he digs through her trash for the rest?

I guess there is no thing as love either.

If we are all equal, why am I alone, and they are together?

If we are all equal, why am can't I seem to find a true friend, and they don't care?

If we are all equal, why am I the one everyone hates, and they are the ones everyone loves?

If we are all equal, why am I the worst and they are the best?

If we are all equal, why am I telling you, and you are not listening?

I guess there is no thing as trust and friends either.

But, we are all equal,

We are all unequal which makes us equal.

No Such Thing as True Friends.

You hate me, then you dont,

You love me, then you won't,

You are my friend, then you aren't.

Make up you mind, now!

I'm done playing your 'game' you call 'friendship,'

You made me hate what I look at when I look in the mirrior,

Hate the numbers seven, eight, and nine; which I find on the back of my pants,

Hate my hair on my head,

Hate my life I live and everything about it,

Hate my smile that apperes evrey so often,

Hate my laugh that I haven't seen for a long time,

And even hate the me I was before.

You have made me smile,

You have made me cry,

You have made me happy,

And worst of all, you have made me want to die.

I can never forgive you for all you have done,

And you my trust for you will never be rebuilt,

For years and years.
