One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

That Name

That name-
Emblazoned onto my mind-
Erasing without defacing?
Is that the dagger I see before me,
The handle towards my heart?
Fearful, you say, of another word.
Its connotations are of fright.
But what affrights me is also full of fear,
The chaos you have unleashed,
And I struggle to remember to forget.
Remember, remember the 5th of November?
And other dates in a stream of memories?
I am not very good with numbers.
But I figure that-
That name-

Closer

The sycamore seeds do ride the breeze,
And delicate foliage blows through trees.
Yet gales bring structures to their knees.
So I hold her closer.
The warm hearth toasts our faces red
Crackling flames whisper whilst in bed.
Yet these same flames cremate the dead-
So I hold her closer.
Dewdrops drip just at day break,
Relaxing, the scene, of a tranquil lake.
Yet bubbles burst, and another you make.
So I let her go?

Heart, Break

I live life with this burden-
Fastened tightly to my core
One could sever it, remove it,
And two would pain me more.
Hammer it shut, conceal it,
That what I would term a curse,
To others despite splinters,
It is greatness, blessing, or worse!
For my tongue I must withhold,
And my heart would have me lose
This offspring of god's memory
The shining darkness of the Muse,
And not is what will do for dreams
While not is what not seems.

A Terrible Beauty

Your features are finer than the finest china.
Not the least
Of what comes from the East
And your lips are neither ruby nor red
But the thickest crimson that blood has bled.

What a picturesque setting for an unsettling picture.
Love is a battlefield, or so they say.

Others

A dimension alternate. Parallel.
There, the two opposites fell
In love, as time grew on.
And now cannot imagine...gone.
There, little differences. Or no.
Sun being moon, friendfoe.
Seasonings cycle, like here;
They do so twice, a year, a year.

But chaos is cosmos. Decide.
There, he’d have to be outside
The proper flow of time.
Dare to take the second line
And we two would be united
Words untied, wrongs righted.
There, with profit comes cost
But to find means to have lost.

This world is for me,
But only in mind, not body.
Somewhere it must be,
Reality’s only a theory.

Conflicted

Leave me?
Despite these blooming weeks of bliss
But that's
Despite this; and this; the last kiss!
I don't want
Despite the anxious promises made
And they mean
Despite how we were bound, so stayed
This isn't what
Leave me.

More

I have no kind of education
I have no positive aspects;
I have no faith or religion
I have little, few prospects
I don't got any friendship
I don't got any ties
I don't got house nor home at all
I don't got anything but lies
I ain't got no more money
I ain't got no more love
I ain't got no more life
I ain't got words
